Remember that one teacher that punished the whole class because one idiot wouldn't shut the fuck up? Remember how much you fucking HATED that teacher? Jontron and Egoraptor just became That Teacher. Assuming this wasn't some sort of mistake.

If they did it on purpose I guess it might be a joke against people who were bitching about them talking about the game. Would explain the text at the beginning (with the WERE HAVING FUN).

I bet Jon was just trying to edit the video with some effects, like the text and zooming, and somehow in the process the audio got left out. Whether they did or did not realize this before uploading I can't say though.

Even more likely: They accidently left the mute on/off thing on for the Microphone sound file in after effects and didn't check it after rendering.

It's a simple enough mistake to make, and it's not something that making a lot of videos will help you prevent really. Is it really that weird that people just miss things sometimes?

A couple people are saying they might have taken it down because they monetized a pure gameplay video, which isn't allowed even if they are with a third party monetezation network.

It wasn't pure gameplay at all, it had editing in it, similar to JonTron's stuff. It just didn't have commentary.

if that was the case they could have just un-monetized it rather than take it down this was either an error or a video that they now regret (see addendum "jontron's top ten overhyped games" or whatever)
