Kinda surprised they didn't know that Berlin and London were capital cities.
Wow, they don't know the capitol of Italy is Rome. :v:
yeah I was surprised they didnt get that Europe question even if they didnt know the capital of Italy was surely they could of used the process of elimination to figure it out
That ending where it said [sp]Jon[/sp] wins scared me.
what is that fucking tapping at like 7:30 on
My guess is it's their leg going up and down hitting the mic stand.

... god dammit they need to stop doing these quiz games, it's embarassing how horrible they are at answering anything that doesn't just affect America.
Three episodes? There's only been two so far.
Oh fuck you are right.
When it asked about Valdez I was pointing at my screen yelling "EXXON VALDEZ?! EXXON VALDEZ?! EXXON VALDEZ?!"
I'm suprised they didn't rule out Paris Hilton, although their trains of thought were probably looking at last names only.
fanart I tried.

Not sure if they went to college. [editline]9th September 2012[/editline] Oh shit jontron has bayonetta. PLAY THAT SHIT HOLY FUCK.
protip: most american educational guidelines don't require highschool courses to teach you indepth world history get used to it
Thank god my History teachers for the past 3 years have been so passionate about the subject.
protip: most american educational guidelines don't require highschool courses to teach you indepth world history get used to it
US involvement in WW1 has been the last chapter in my history class like 4 years in a row now. Before that the last chapter was America's Industrial Revolution. Most people don't know Prussia existed or that the Italian peninsula didn't go from "Roman Empire" to "Italy" right away. I could probably make a long list of nations my classmates have never heard of if I cared at all and was a big enough dick to ask them.
I just ordered this off of eBay for them. Set the address straight to their PO Box.

In my five years of secondary school we learned the history of Europe from the Roman Empire to the modern day, a lot of North Africa's history in the same periods, extended periods on British and Irish history, The major wars of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, and all of America's history up to the Cold War. We also dd some on Asia, though mostly related to when westerners were involved. I constantly see Americans complain that they didn't learn about hugely important eras of human history. Did they teach you anything beyond your own borders and the World Wars?

I remember back to the clinton and bush senior periods so I know how bad George W. was (great with aids in africa), yet people seem to forget what happened before 4 years ago. And if it's not a political bias, it's growing up learning to past a test then really retain the lessons learned for one's own use. I'm not 100 percent sure, I talk to people on campus about star trek next gen and their clueless to what I'm talking about. kids these days.
Egoraptor is a poopdick now. Oh god that ending had me damn near in tears. Also, them playing Hey You Pikachu would be fucking awesome. My childhood will ooze out of every pore. I loved that game. STOP FUCKING THROWING PAPERS AROUND PIKACHU
Does anyone have U.N. Squadron for the SNES? Because, if any of you do have it, you should totally send them it
what is that fucking tapping at like 7:30 on
Ego's house is haunted and is hitting their mic with it's ghost hand.
... god dammit they need to stop doing these quiz games, it's embarassing how horrible they are at answering anything that doesn't just affect America.
who cares its for fun [editline]9th September 2012[/editline] in fact its much more entertaining when they have no idea
protip: most american educational guidelines don't require highschool courses to teach you indepth world history get used to it
I'm not saying they're abnormally bad at geography/history compared to the American standard. I'm saying the American standard is embarassingly low and it's kind of sad to be reminded of that all the time. It may sound like a weird thing to say, but I'm sure it resonates with at least a few non-Americans in this thread.
in fact its much more entertaining when they have no idea
I wish I was that cynical about it.

Oh dear god that NATO question. WHY WOULD IT BE "TECHNOLOGY" EGO? IT'S A MILITARY ALLIANCE. YOU POOPDICK.
Oh dear god that NATO question. WHY WOULD IT BE "TECHNOLOGY" EGO? IT'S A MILITARY ALLIANCE. YOU POOPDICK.
who cares everyone comes across different facts during their life. not everyone is privy to the same trivial information. ego i'm sure knows a shitload more than you about a lot of other things
Sometimes I get embarrassed about their lack of knowledge of certain things then realise that it's incredibly pretentious to be embarrassed at someone else's lack of knowledge so I stop Egoraptor and JonTron are video game critics and animators. NATO and other countries isn't exactly required knowledge plus I seriously doubt this is an accurate representation of their knowledge, they probably aren't 100% paying attention

Because at my school we were the taught ancient, African, European, Asian, and US history. And not just a cursory glance at history either. We went really in depth. Hell, we started learning about Africa in the 7th grade.
SSBB was released febuary 2008, and animal crossing wii was released november 2008. They aren't THAT old (although 4 years is still a bit of time) but they aren't new either. [editline]8th September 2012[/editline] Two best friends did NOT invent taking a video of two people playing a modern game. Thats like saying any video of COD is a ripoff of the first guy that did a COD video. Thats just silly.
I never actually even implied they invented it, I merely said it would be in the style of "two best friends" whereas I want to watch GameGrumps where they play classic games with a unique kind of humor.
