Wow, Jon brought up CS:GO and it 'came it today', they really must of pre-recorded these episodes since that was a month ago.

Nah, they are streamed as they play.
Editing, according to most famous YouTubers I've seen, takes quite a lot of time, for example the time Jon yelled in the mic and Egoraptor said sound balancing would become nightmare.

I'd imagine they have a harddrive full of content and releasing it part by part to prevent running out of content. The reason for this may vary, but it is a really easy way to make a lot of money, considering it is easier than making a funny review or creating funny flash videos.

That's obvious, that's why you pre-record in the first place.
But pretty much a month old footage? That's what gets me. They release 1-3 episodes a day and their batch is a month old, why isn't the releases more frequent?
Do they only play once every month and stock up footage for the next month? I would be more happy with every second week, keeping the talk more relevant and they can easilier refer to the audience as is, rather than how they were.

I know Ego does sound editing on it, but when you yell into a mic you can't "fix it" it will always sound clipped. So part of it is I think Ego does that to give Jon a hard time.

Perhaps they just don't release them in chronological order. They might have recorded it a month ago but left it because they already had too many things going.
i seriously couldn't keep up with that kilometer to meter or whatever the hell they were talking about, like couldn't they have done 5280 x 2 and subtract 10,000
