The state-sponsored violence in Nazi Germany is a perfect example of how animalistic people can really be, if given the opportunity. I believe that a lot of people simply hold back from behavior like that because it isn't socially acceptable or legal. Human beings are very advanced in a lot of ways, but we're susceptible to behaving like animals, too. When you recognize that tendency in yourself, it's easier to avoid acting like that.

I still believe God created us, there no other valid reason explaining why the universe was formed or out it was made out of nothing, but evolution goes hand in hand with creation in a sense, idealistically i like to think God started the wheel of evolution so continuously it rolls faster and faster explaining our ever increasing progress through the span of time we been here. My only disbelief is these holy texts, for example Christianity which i still try to find my basis for belief in(no real success yet) that recorded the event of mankind from the first step to the foretelling of a saviour, my only arguement is how do we know the text isnt corrupted or is fictionalized? yes there was the council of trent about 200 years after Jesus Christ death? but who knows if the council of trent even put in the right books or put the wrong one in? why should i believe in a text that could be a load of bull as Man time and time and time again shown to be corrupted and greedy as we first reasoned in the beginning.
Faith is important but blindly believing without really going into the frameworks can be disturbing.
Shermans M4's were sadly overrated tanks, the M26 Pershing is the far better tank that absolutely out gunned it's German rivals when it hit the field.

I wish more people believed like this. Religion and science can coexist. And I do believe religious texts have been corrupted, too. The Bible has been translated and reinterpreted so many times, it's hard to believe what actually belongs in there and what doesn't.

the tiger was the best tank in WW2
The Tiger's biggest strength was it's murderously effective main gun. It's biggest problem was it was a pricey bitch to produce and had its share of reliability problems.
But I do agree somewhat it was one of the best tanks (looking at it from a design perspective, the thing was an absolute horror to fight against for allied troops and M4 sherman crewmen alike).

made the point i was going for Overall- it not the best t34 and a few others are up for those in terms of economics and overall functionality. Tiger are nice but a bit slow, i like to think of them as movable 88's with armor really =S whereas the t34 functioned more as a tank with economical regards

60 t-34 could be made for 1 tiger

The hate of Slavs by German peoples has been around nearly forever. The Slavs hated Jews on top of it. The Slavs were as bad as Jews in some German's eyes.
The main problem with the Tiger was how unreliable it was.
The 88 was an excellent weapon, it had enough armor to withstand just about anything the enemy would throw at it and even though it was a bit slow it could keep up with other units unlike the KV line of tanks.

The Pershing had its limits. Its gun was pretty damn good but its engine was severely underpowered.
