• The legal sex age.

Hey Skinny T, You have a point there, there is ofcourse a grey area. the girl i first slept with technically broke the law as i was 15 and she was 16. (Legal age in the UK). But the law cant be seen to be relaxing sex laws in the midst of a peadophile epidemic. It wont happen unfortunately. I'd just hope the judge and jury in such a case would use common sence. Another wierd point here. To have gay sex in the UK you must legally be 18.... Where is the sence in this ?
Usually if its under 18, both need to be legal and age difference can be max 4 years or so.
It's also 16 in Australia :smugdog:
no it fucking isnt not in public anyway... oh the memories
As her brother you have some responsibility here.
Keatinator is actually a girl :eng101:
I think a relationship at that age with a difference of 7 years is just too much.
Oops, I do appologise Keatinator. Forgive me for my sexist assumptions. Oh, and i'd maybe not recomend punching this guy then... Unless you fight like my ex. In that case skin him alive.
I was 15 when I lost my virginity to a 16 year old (age of consent) and I honestly wish I hadn't. I was with her for nearly 3 years with regular sex. I am now 20 and in another sexual relationship and I honestly wish I was still a virgin. I find sex so undignified, and almost forced like "you're in an adult relationship therefore you must have sex". I am really anti-religion but I kinda wish I was brought up with enough morals to wait till marriage. Kinda moving away from the point of the thread, but there's my 2 cents.

I hear lots of ladies saying that, but its kinda breaking taboo for a guy to say something like that. I dont feel the same, but i commend your honesty. I wish i hadnt shagged my ex aswell, but thats cos she's a total boot.
I think a relationship at that age with a difference of 7 years is just too much.
I can understand 20, but I think 7 is good. As long as there is no noticeable difference when they are older. As the older will age, that person will show it more rapidly than the younger person. So by the time the couple are 80 and 60 there would be a huge gap in physical age. That and generational differences also do not help. When you have a seven year difference, it is only really noticeable when in the teen/twenties age group.
I dunno. If i had a 16 year old daughter and she brought home a 23 year old guy it wouldnt last very long. Aw, but how terrible is this. If my 16 year old son had a 23 year old GF i'd probably say well done. Its just because i know what older guys are like.

Some girl i know (16) is going out witha 21 year old. It sounds so wrong but it's legal. Like BykeRyder above I would totally freak out if i had a 16 year old daughter going out with someone eight years older. I 'd make her leave it till she's like 20-something.
In canada, it is legal to have sex with people under 16 if you are over 16, but you still need to be in a 2 year range. That's what i've been told by the old fat lady at school 4 years ago.
Yeah Skinny T. But i have my reasons. Hear me out. If an older woman goes with a younger guy, there is only so many negative outcomes which can arise. And ussually the woman (Maybe im giving women too much credit here) is interested in the relationship for more than just sex. In the opposite situation, you, me and every guy here knows why a man takes such a young partner. SEX, and very little else. And the potential consiquences (pregnancy, violence etc) are far more serious and immediate if things go wrong. Chances are aswell, that the younger girl would be more heart broken and emotionally distraught when she realised the truth of her relationship. You'd be able to look into this older guys eyes and see exactly what the fukker was after. Whereas with an older woman, i would trust them and their intentions much more. Maybe that is double standards yeah, but its not just sexism, theres some thought behind it. Infact its Positive sexism towards women if anything. I believe men to be much more likely (100% more) to enter a relationship with a younger person purely to take advantage of them.
Guess what our LSA is... 16. :smug:
Ours is 14.

Double standards aren't always a bad thing, but it really is one.
It's 14 here in Estonia... Fuck yeah!
15 in holland :v: edit 16 :saddowns: List of legal sex age's of all country's Spain The age of consent in Spain is :siren:13:siren:, as specified by the Spanish Penal Code, Article 181(2). However, if deceit is used in gaining the consent of a minor under 16 years an individual can be charged under Article 183(1) upon parental complaint. Vatican State There is an equal age of consent set at :siren:12:siren: years of age in Art. 331 (1)[32] [33] . When there is a relationship of dependence (like teacher/student, etc.) the age of consent is 15 years in Art. 331 (2)[32]
It's complicated in The Netherlands (not Holland, Holland doesn't have its own laws.) You have to be 16 to have sex with someone over 18. If you're under 16 you can have sex with someone as long as both are between 12-16 and the minor consents. [editline]04:52PM[/editline]
It's 14 here in Estonia... Fuck yeah!
As I mentioned above, I think our 12 beats all.
As I mentioned above, I think our 12 beats all.
See what someone posted about the vatican. AoC is 12 unless there's a dependency relationship between both parties, in which case it's 15. Quite ironic considering current news.

It actually depends on the state you live in for the US, pornography is a minimum of 18-21. My states LSA is 16, but you can also be within 4 years of age with a minor for it to be consensual.
As I mentioned above, I think our 12 beats all.
You... you're living my dream :crying:
It doesn't matter if she's consenting, she's still a minor, and hence, he's breaking the law, and is technically a paedophile.
He's technically not. Pedophilia is only for pre-pubescent. Hebephilia or Ephebophilia is what he'd technically be.
My sister for example is one of those dumb kids who is having sex at a young age, she is with someone who is seven years older than herself. I know it is her choice but she could've waited till she was older but no she is in too much of a rush to grow up and do adult things and now for her being stupid and not waiting she could be pregnant. She has been using contraception but still everyone knows that doesn't work 100% When she told me this I said well that'll teach you for having underage sex.
Before you talk high and mighty, you should think about what you are going to say. You called her dumb for having sex at a young age saying she should of waited until she was older. You then go on the say shes been using contraception (saying yourself it's never 100%), and then when she came to you saying she may be prego you bash her on your high horse telling her that will teach her for having underage sex. So allow me to put forth this question to you: Why the fuck would it matter had she waited if the contraceptions don't work 100% anyway? Do you think they gain some kind of magic after she's legal?
Pregnancy is just not as devastating when you're older. I'm guessing that's what she meant.
I don't think it's fair to be honest that these minors get away with having underaged sex. I think they should get a form of punishment or something for breaking this law.
It's 16 in Georgia, in the States. It's illegal if you have sex with a 21 year old or older.
Not quite accurate, OP is talking about statutory rape.
If they can't pronounce their own names, they can't tell what you did to them.
Wow this thread is full of idiots, thanks for not disappointing GD. If someone wants to have sex with someone who's 7 years old than them it's their choice, no one elses. You wouldn't mind if it was a 20 year old having sex with a 27 year old would you?
