I loved MCR in Junior High School when I thought that I would be cool if I listened to it because my friend did Then I stopped being retarded

It's funny how everybody taks about "Junior High" like a time when you were basically retarded, but here in Sweden you're expected to be mature

we don't have junior high in the UK we got 7 years in primary school (5-12) and another 4-6 years in highschool. (12-16,17,18, depends on when you leave)

MCR surely isn't the best band in the world, but they definitely aren't the worst. I admit, I like them. My Favourite album at the moment is The Black Parade, with major highlights being Dead, Welcome to the Black Parade, and Mama. Desolation Row was a pretty good cover in my opinion, and it fit the Band and the Movie. Once you get past their stupid emo-faggy stereotypes, they're a pretty good band.

I find it all very strange that a majority of people went out and bought The Black Parade and then seeing how much everyone else hated them decided that they would jump on the band-wagon. I had an ex who loved listening to the album but would never put it on her phone/ipod in case other people saw, what I'm trying to say is that a lot of the hate on MCR is just band-waggoning to seem cool. They still have thousands/millions of fans and aren't the worst thing you could be listening to.
