What is it with Youtube terminating things that people actually like, seriously.
hoo boy I fucking love copyright laws and not having fun
When will YouTube die already? :v:
I'm amazed he didn't get strikes for having an image of Nintendo games
Terms of service violation, lol sure take Giivasunner down, but all those Reaction channels blatantly violating the community guidelines by showing entire videos from other channels? Perfectly fucking fine apparently.
brb uploading a video of me handraping an young looking actor as a prank video [editline][/editline] hey guys its been a year and I've not been taken down yet for my epic social experiment of me pretending to rob-murder a black guy causing him to emotionally break down and go into depression
and my video of me just staring at your video On topic, at least the bandcamp is still up https://gilvasunner.bandcamp.com/releases
Please tell me someone somewhere backed this shit up.
Very disappointed, I really liked the Rainbow Road one. Now my playlist has yet more black holes of deleted videos in it. :speechless:

I really wonder how the whole copyright situation will be handled in the future. The way youtube enforces copyright laws currently really kills creativity. At the same time, content grabbers on Facebook actually get revenue for their constant infringement. It's sad, especially when you consider just how much work has gone into the content Gilvasummer has made :/
Terms of service violation, lol sure take Giivasunner down, but all those Reaction channels blatantly violating the community guidelines by showing entire videos from other channels? Perfectly fucking fine apparently.
Well duh, these are big companies having their sacred work tarnished without permission. They're obviously more important than content creators and must be prioritized. I mean who cares about individuals getting cheated out of their revenue by talentless hacks who literally steal content for a living?
In all seriousness, thinking now, kinda surprised regular Gilvasunner's account hasn't been taken down for all the rips he uploaded. [sp]Let's hope it stays that way too.[/sp]
In all seriousness, thinking now, kinda surprised regular Gilvasunner's account hasn't been taken down for all the rips he uploaded. [sp]Let's hope it stays that way too.[/sp]
What if they meant to take down Gilvasunners account because he did just copy paste someone elses work and got fooled and took down the grand dads by mistake. Unlikely but that would be funny.
Please tell me someone saved the "A N N O U N C E M E N T" video, it was my favorite.
It's really stupid that Youtube had to take down GilvaSunner's channel because of this "Terms of Service Violation" bullshit. He wasn't making money off of the high quality rips he was uploading and if it was because of "spam" then why haven't they taken down any of the shitty reaction channels that do the exact same thing except they steal peoples videos and show them in their entirety? Hopefully Gilva gets his channel back and we get more high quality rips because this seems like more of Youtube's hypocrisy at work.
#MakeHighQualityRipsGreatAgain
My hypothesis is that maybe having the exact same name, avatar and channel description is probably very risky and could be seen as an attempt to impersonate someone else. I'm not saying YouTube was in the right but considering how many people even here didn't take the time to check if the videos were legit before posting do you think YOUTUBE will?

It's probably either Channel Impersonation or for "Spam", aka uploading a bit too often.
Is this real? Is this fake? Probably the latter, but I have no idea.
nah, he's one of the contributors of the channel
At least it wasn't the real GS
GRANDAD WAKE UP rip
at least post the real one instead of a remix
Why the whole impersonation thing, though? Surely his high quality rips would be just as good if he got a different name.
Why the whole impersonation thing, though? Surely his high quality rips would be just as good if he got a different name.
GRAND DAD works in mysterious ways. We may never know the truth.
Damn, that sucks. It was fun while it lasted.
Why the whole impersonation thing, though? Surely his high quality rips would be just as good if he got a different name.
It's part of the high quality. You get linked a Nintendo song, you're like "Oh it's this guy, he's uploaded rips befo- why is this so high quality?"
I'm not saying YouTube was in the right but considering how many people even here didn't take the time to check if the videos were legit before posting do you think YOUTUBE will?
Just skimmed through the Youtube guidelines and stumbled on this section: So besides possible impersonation, I guess that it could also be possible that some asshats just reported Giiva because they got bait-and-switched, and Youtube just pressed the [nuke user] button without looking.
