-How the control of knowledge (knowing something versus not knowing something) is a major factor in what we humans perceive as consciousness. -Whether or not we humans truly have free will. Think about it- you have a gun in your hand, would you shoot yourself? You argue that you -could-, but won't...but could you, really? -The small events that govern so much of our lives.
Write one on a particular work. Take it, analyze it, defend or attack its standing as "art". Why is it good, or bad, or meaningful? A lot of people say true art is not supposed to be pretty, but is supposed to send a message and help the audience realize something about themselves. Is this art? Write about your future career working on an oil rig after graduating from an art school
Put a single dot in the middle of the page tell them it's an abstract essay and that they don't understand your deep message
write about your thoughts on Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma
I would write two or three completely different short stories about basically the same occurrence. Perhaps imitating some pretty well-known writing styles. So that the short stories aren't the only pieces of art I'm submitting, but their combination would be a work of art on its own too.

I think I'll go with either the 1984 analysis or how writing has affected me. The latter would be more fun but it would be difficult to not come across as snobby.:P Thank you!
Write about the colonial societies of lint hiding under your cabinets and how they interact with dust bunnies to evade the powerful suction of vacuum cleaners
write about cocks, that always works
Write about dogs or the internet.
This is an art school, right? Well then, create a topic, I doubt they want to here your views on abortion or something, they just want to see how you write, and if you come up with something creative that's extra points. For one of my papers this last semester I wrote a descriptive essay on the ending scene to a story I'm planning to write.
write about cats
