Long gone are the days when only the rich could afford art pieces and appreciate them. These days the middle classes have enough purchasing power and knowledge to appreciate and purchase art. There are also many different types of painting styles out there, and everyone has different tastes, just like music. I have to say though, the education system is doing a wonderful job in putting people off art by making it dead boring and seemingly useless to learn about.

Although I recognize that I could probably do the same thing and have a good chance at being rich, I wouldn't be able to live with sacrificing my artistic integrity. I'd rather make music that I love to make and not make it big at all, then to make music I hate and be known world wide.
