Even so, our rights as declared by the states, even if written in compliance with the constitution, can be manipulated. For instance, California has a machine gun permit - it's impossible to get, yet there is a legal function with a technical posibility of aquiring it. If the same was applied to all firearms in my state, then our right to bear arms would be practically nonexistent. Yet we would still be able to legally acquire those weapons if we had the impossible channels on our side. Basically, I'm not sure I like the states being able to modify the parameters of rights already granted to us.

I didn't realize it was trying to be funny at first, and then at the end it was trying too hard. I do not approve.
