Skate 3 gameplay - General - Facepunch Forum

Im really exited for the water now. YES WATER WOOOHOOO!

It looks just the same as Skate 2 just a different hud and different location. Hopefully it has a lot more to offer than Skate 2 or at least something different.

I think this is EA having another dig at activision for changing the tony hawk franchise into the Ride pile of shit, by saying you dont need to change up the skate formula and just stick with the formula and add to it thats why its nothing incredibly different.

If you're not really a big skate fan you might not understand some of the smaller improvements though. Plus there's things they haven't told yet.

Don't forget about the new multiplayer options.

This is turning into an every year release with poor additions... Somewhat like the Fifa/NHL/Madden series. Will probably become "Skate 2012" and onwards by 2012.

I always preferred the skate series to the tony hawk series.

I think the only thing i like about games like skate is the fact that really the only thing you can pay attention to is graphics, I mean the only gameplay is skating, hence the name skate but, I mean that's it.

You know, they don't HAVE to change the game drastically to make it better. In my opinion, skate 2 was nearly perfect. The trick system needed some tweaking, and there were a few things (like the water teleport thing) that needed to be changed, but other than that, it was amazing. I personally think it's good that they didn't change much. You have to remember too, it's still only in production, so things can change.
