In fact all this year I have worn a hat. Alopecia or hair loss is the medical description of the loss of hair from the head or body, sometimes to the extent of baldness. (like me.) I have lost ALL of my hair, minus my slow growing, pitiful facial hair and my toe hairs:frown: The condition affects 0.1%–0.2% of humans, occurring in both males and females, though far more females than males. Alopecia areata occurs in people who are apparently healthy and have no skin disorder. Initial presentation most commonly occurs in the late teenage years, early childhood, or young adulthood, but can happen with people of all ages. Hair will grow back 90% of the time, mine is growing back slowly, really slowly.
In most cases that begin with a small number of patches of hair loss, hair grows back after a few months to a year
So Here are some cause of Different types of Alopecia
Causes -Alopecia areata is noncommunicable, or not contagious. It occurs more frequently in people who have affected family members, suggesting that heredity may be a factor. Strong evidence that genes may increase risk for alopecia areata was found by studying families with two or more affected members. This study identified at least four regions in the genome that are likely to contain alopecia areata genes. In addition, it is slightly more likely to occur in people who have relatives with autoimmune diseases. -Androgenetic alopecia (Male pattern baldness) -Fungal infection such as "black dot" tinea or tinea capitis -Chemical breakage such as over processing, or frequent use of chemical relaxer -Heat damage as from repeated hot comb use -Chronic exposure to traction on hair shaft such as Traction alopecia -Compulsive hair pulling such as trichotillomania -Hyperthyroidism or Hypothyroidism [3] -Iron deficiency -Telogen effluvium resulting from physical or psychological stress -Hereditary disorder of the hair shaft or genodermatoses -Secondary syphillis can cause "moth eaten hairloss"[4] -Discoid lupus erythematosus or chronic cutanous lupus erythematosus -Lichenplanopilaris -Pseudopelade of Brocq -Tufted folliculitis -Dissecting cellulitis -Alopecia mucinosa -Keratosis follicularis spinulosa decalvans -Adverse effect from certain drugs such as chemotherapy -Radiation therapy -Testosterone booster tablets. Gollum, grab the nearest camera and take a picture of yourself and show it to us!
Hang on. Will need to use silly mac book. cant find camera.
I think most men look pretty good with shaved heads. Let your facial hair grow into a unique design, keep your head shiny and adopt a new look.
Unless you have the wrong head for baldness, you're fine.

FASHION BRO TIP: Shave the head and get better clothes. The neck is way too stretched and the fuzzyness isn't very cool in public. [editline]10:19PM[/editline] if you got style you can pull of fucking anything, and that includes baldness :c00l:

A kid at my school has something like this. He lost his hair in patches and then later on most of it was gone. He came back with a wig, and no one really talks about it with it with him, but we're pretty sure it is a wig.
