90 minutes of my life and $7.50 had been wasted.
You lucky fuck. Tickets are $9.50 here.
I saw it. It was the worst horror movie I have ever seen. I laughed through most of the supposedly scary sections. Especially at Micah's constant yelling of "Fuck!" after anything the least bit startling. It was so constant.
*thump*
"FUCK!"
*bang*
"FUCK!"
*scream*
"FUCK!"
Hearing loud thumps at a constant rate is pretty startling if you are the one hearing it.
Just got an email from their website, if you demanded the film for your area, you can now submit your name and they will put it in the DVD credits.
A few friends and I are going to make a Spoof (I guess?) of it called Abnormal Happenings. But instead of an invisible demon, its going to be an immensely fat guy who shits everywhere. Like, nightvision of a guy taking a dump on your bed while you're downstairs.
I'm only $ short of the $1129.99 Camera.
Everything else is set.

If you pull that off well, then you win.
You will win at life.
Too bad it's most likely gonna be a queezy-cam crapfest with distorted audio and a large concentration of fail.

That sounds retarded.
Honestly, it would be so easy to make a decent spoof.
It's because you have Balls of Steel.
but I got hair on my balls.
Saw it a week ago, and it wasn't too scary. When you see the demon running around the house, shutting doors and turning on lights, I just couldn't help but think of a small child overdosed on sugar in the middle of the night.
I laughed a lot.
I saw this a few days ago and it was the only movie that actually scared me, not the scared where you jump as something flies at the screen unexpectedly, but genuine fear.
I think of it every time I go to bed now. =(
That movie was pretty boring.
This seems like one of those movies that you either like, or hate. No in between.
I liked it though. It was more unique than most horror films, many of which are just gore fests like saw.
This ^
Not scary in the beginning, scales up and in the end, fucking horrible. Kinda added a nice effect because of a surround system of girls screaming around me in the cinema.
It is so cool. But not that scary.
I just saw the original version. Incredibly creepy.
However, I don't understand the whole plot...
Basically, demon haunts her, finally making her kill her boyfriend, then rock back and forth until the police come and mistake them for her boyfriend, and finally get shot. What was the demon, anyways?
Paranormal activity = #1 gayest "horror" movie ever made
I just watched it and i shat myself
[editline]12:43AM[/editline]
my heart is still beating like crazy :ohdear:
I don't understand why everyone is shitting over themselves at this movie, its not even that scary.
It was boring up till the first half-hour, but after that it got increasingly interesting but still not scary. I liked how the plot thickened after each event, but the only thing that got me a little freaked out was up until the last ten minutes.
For me, It wasn't scary enough to give me nightmares, but it was able to keep me paranoid for a couple of days.
It's a very awesome low budget movie.

The plot never 'thickened', there was really no plot. That's kinda the point- it's 'real', it plays out like real life as opposed to a movie. A twisted version of real life.
For instance, there's no conventional soundtrack in terms of scary music.
I think of it more like a dream, that starts off mostly 'meh' like most dreams, then it starts getting interesting because there's a girl with a nice rack in it. Then, oh shit, it starts geting disturbing. Next thing you know, you are dreading seeing what's coming next because you know it's going to be bad whatever it is. Like a dream, there is no real plot, things just happen and you are along for the ride.
worst movie of 2009
this movie is shit... watched it. it's not even scary. boring...
Shitty movie, not scary at all, except if you're under 6 years old. Shitty acting, crap location, horrible filming. There are hundreds of better horror movies. The whole movie works up to the shittest ending I've ever seen. The stupid bitch character growls at the camera. Oooh, fucking scary. If you're under 6.
