What he said he missed was never scary and is basically the same thing as what we have now but with lower production values. That writer is an idiot.
Going to see this tomorrow.
It's going nationwide guys!
1 million people demanded and we get it!

Coming out in 6 days.
Woo! Going to see this ASAP.
Now that it's nation wide, does that mean it will be in all theaters like most film releases, or will it still be pretty limited?
Uhmmm, i think it depends on how many people wanted it in your area, Example. It now has like 10 showings in AMC, Whilst back when it was limited, the only way you could see it was at Harkins at 12:01 on thursday. but thank god to fall break. im going to get my dad to take me :D
Just saw this today, honestly, it was the fucking SCARIEST movie I've seen in a long time. Really fucked up ending.

Actually I received an email not long ago:
"From the very beginning, we put this film in the hands of the fans and we trusted them to tell us where and when it should be seen. We couldn't be more thrilled by their overwhelming support and we are happy to release the film in every town - big and small,"
...and at the end of the film it all turns out that it was all a trick played by their friends.
A very long elaborate trick that hurt them psychologically and physically.
EDOT: I'm kidding. Don't get angry.

Fuck you asshole. Spoiler tag that shit.
(Incoming flaming ban)
Just got back from seeing it, didn't think it was that scary, it creeped me out a time or two, which is honestly more than any other scary movie has ever managed, the part that creeped me out the most though was [sp] when the girl got dragged out of the bed and out the door and it slammed as soon as she was outside, that was a little freaky[/sp] I thoroughly enjoyed it though, if you like scary movies oyu should watch it.
I saw this, in Pasadena.
Scary? Check. Creepy? Check. Scare a minute, with blood and monsters? Not so much.
This is a scary movie for the thinking man. So much of what makes it work is implication, not what is shown. If XYZ is happening, then that means....yeah, and that's scary as fuck!
The lead actress is very effective, which is important because she really has to carry this movie. Like all hand held cam movies, this movie depends on seeming as 'real' as possible to be effective, she adds to the realism with her performance(and the performance of her cleavage adds something too).
Speaking of the cam, this movie proves what people like me have been saying when talking about Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield- you CAN do a hand held 'real' movie and not have it be unwatchable nauseating crap most of the time. This movie is hand held with lots of motion but it won't make you sick.
My favorite bit [sp]is the psychic with his "I have to leave, RIGHT NOW" exit the second time they call him. Haha, he might as well have told them straight out "You are soooo fucked!"[/sp]
1 Million demanding gets it released Nationwide in theaters all of a sudden? Sounds more like a Viral Advertisement campaign to me
I just watched the trailer, holy shit, whatever you do don't watch the trailer. It really does give away far too much.
Damn, I'm glad I knew nothing about this movie before I saw it. I knew the title, and that it was supposed to be scary and that's it. That's all you should know before you see it.

I'm kidding. That's not how it ends, but if it really did end like that wouldn't that be a dumb ending.
Im gonna go see this tomorrow and hopefully not cry

Oh thank god.
Just saw it at a South Chicago theater. Great movie, scared the fuck out of me and my family/friends. The plot may be shallow but it's just fucking good. Go see it, and whoever is flaming is most likely some dumb ass that hasn't even seen the movie.

My favorite was most likely the [sp]Slam and screech, or the part where she stared at him for 3 fucking hours and went outside[/sp]

Well I saw it it tonight and i have to say i was disappointed. Im glad i saw it but it didnt live up to the hype
I'd give it a 6/10
I heard it hit a million demands, will it be released nationwide?
Why don't they just release the movie and make a ton of money. What is this crap about "limited screening".
[sp] When they ended the whole video it sounded like it was still going it'd be extremely hilarious if they did a random screamer scaring the living hell out of everyone who was about to leave [/sp]
yay it's in columbus
Just got back from a date to see this movie, I had already seen it, she hadn't right after [sp] the bedsheets move the first time[/sp] she was clinging to me for the rest of the movie.
:smug:
Excellent date movie.
I demanded it last night for Phoenix. Hope I don't have to travel ALL the way into Phoenix for it.
How about Tempe or Mesa instead? :smug:
Ask for Mesa because I don't want to go far.
