It was good. I've only seen the original release though, so i guess i saw the alternate ending? But it was good because it uses suspense to be scary, and you don't see that too much now a days.
Eh it was an ok movie, last 20 mins were the best. movie gets a 8/10 cause my girl enjoyed the movie to much and needed company afterwards :3:
This is a movie you need to watch by yourself on your bed. (that's how I watched it) It started out pretty slow, until the night scenes came on. I was hoping for a sex scene, really, it seemed logical. But no... In the end I really liked the movie for the fact that it made me scared. At least to the point where I needed to watch two more movies before going to bed.
It's not so much scary as it is suspenseful. It's a very well-made movie, especially for a low-budget indie film. The acting is shoddy, but not bad enough that it takes away from the film.
They must have just skipped the whole "acting budget" and "production budget" thing and skipped straight to the advertising budget.
I loved the movie.I watched with my friends and were scared like shit.I loved the movie but the ending was kinda shit.
-snip- lol

Oh wait. [sp]Turns out I've only seen the police ending.[/sp] What happens in the endning which all of you guys saw?
Oh wait. [sp]Turns out I've only seen the police ending.[/sp] What happens in the endning which all of you guys saw?
How many times did you hit your reply button? [sp]Same thing to the part where she screams and stabs him, she takes him upstairs, throws him against the camera, you see her bent over to him, then she crawls toward the camera and she goes to bite it or something, the screen goes black, then it ends. It's creepier than the police ending.[/sp]
Some parts I closed my eyes, I admit.
Honestly, I wasn't scared a lot, and I usually don't watch stuff like this, some scenes I saw people jump and I'am like "Wow really? You people jumped at that" Don't get me wrong the scene where the door slams was intense but everyone freaked out, my eyes got big and I started smiling. The only part I was actually scared was the end, [sp] Where shes like "We should just stay, it's better if we stay" Then she starts smiling, I was like "She lost it" then when I saw her come to the camera after getting Micah, I covered my face and peeked through my fingers. [/sp] The ending message ran chills down my spine.
Saw this with my girlfriend yesterday because I thought we'd like it. I was right. Scary shit. :ohdear:

I bet you had to check all your windows and doors after.
When the demon roars near the beginning..fuck that scared the shit out of me..
This was honestly the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. I decided that I couldn't take it anymore and was about to walk out, then realized that that was it and the movie was over. A terrible ending to a terrible movie. The alternate ending didn't make up for the rest of the movie, but it actually made sense. I think that's why they took it out. The only reason they did it from the camera's perspective is that if they used normal cinematography, they would've needed to have actual content. They would've needed to actually have a plot and make a movie. Almost NOTHING happens in the movie, and what does happen takes ten years, is incredibly obvious, stupid, or you don't see. All that happened throughout most of the movie was either the idiotic main characters arguing, doors moving a few centimeters then back again, an invisible demon leaving some footprints, and a moron psychic guy who comes to the house, does nothing, and leaves. Some people were actually screaming in the theater, making it even worse. When I left the theater, I was burning inside with violent anger that 90 minutes of my life and $7.50 had been wasted.
Cry. Me. A. River, bro.
Seen it, it's quite creepy by the fact of that it looked quite realistic.
I'm sorry, but this movie was just...horrible. It didn't scare me the least bit. I'm not trying to whine or anything, just posting my opinion.
Just got back. It was a thriller, not necessarily scary, but it was good nevertheless. I would not stop laughing when [sp]she stood there staring at Micah for 4 hours then decided she'd fuck around and go outside[/sp]. I especially laughed at [sp]her getting dragged down the hall and when they both started screaming at the same time[/sp]. You're going to think I'm just paranoid, but when I got home from the movie I noticed my closet door was ajar. This is strange because my cat freaked out and hissed at something in there this morning and I shut it tightly. That was the first time I've heard my cat hiss in two years, and my closet door is extremely hard to open. It sticks and you must use a lot of force to open it. There was nobody home from the time I left for the movie until the time I got back.
Saw it today, was quite good. I'm usually not one for "scary movies", but this was definitely a creepy one. Though, its expected that people would feel paranoid and start "seeing things" after it. All one has to do is look at it from a director's standpoint. And that its a movie...so its fake.
Yeah it was pretty creepy.
Just got back from a post-Halloween party. Closet is open again. What the fuck
Just got back from a post-Halloween party. Closet is open again. What the fuck
You should put a video camera in your room
The movie itself was not that scary, they did not develop the plot that well, but the concept of it is pretty scary.
Very. Scary. Watched yesterday (private sauce)
When the demon roars near the beginning..fuck that scared the shit out of me..
It's even more creepy considering the fucking demon [sp]is a bird.[/sp] Fucking hell, that fact makes this all the more creepy.
I didn't find it scary at all. I liked it though. I like how it was filmed like a home video. I was really hoping for a nude scene though.
I saw it. It was the worst horror movie I have ever seen. I laughed through most of the supposedly scary sections. Especially at Micah's constant yelling of "Fuck!" after anything the least bit startling. It was so constant. *thump* "FUCK!" *bang* "FUCK!" *scream* "FUCK!"
I really thought this was a fresh breath from all the bullshit Americanized Japanese horror spinoffs and generic "rotten corpses flash rapidly and frame rate goes up and down" shit. I've heard people say good things and bad things about this movie, but I really enjoyed it.
