You can only have a skill in something by mastering it, by succumbing to fear you are not gaining a skill but submitting to a weakness. Fear and panic make people do stupid things, understanding and controlling these can save your ass.
The most common physical reactions of fear include:

Rapid heart rate

Increased blood pressure

Tightening of muscles

Sharpened or redirected senses

Dilation of the pupils (to let in more light)
Most of which can help you survive....
On topic: Bigest fear, Fear of the unknown. It pretty much sums up all other fears including death. We are scared about what happens after death. And before superdinoman starts saying that your brain stops working and you are unconscious forever let me ask you how do you know? Are you dead?
The 95% of the ocean that remains unexplored. It's also one of the things that truly interests me and I plan to make a career out of it.

All of which can be an aquired skill by understanding what causes them, once you remove the fear and replace it with understanding you can control these sorts of physical reactions.
Dont give me that derp its unconsciously done bullshit.

I'm a massive realist so I guess I'm kinda like superdinoman in the fact that I say nothing scares me. But I'm mainly talking about superstitious stuff. When it comes down to it, we are just a bug bunch of cells and shit and the has never been any scientific proof of superstitious stuff.
The only actual real thing I'm scared of is being in the middle of the ocean without a boat or anything. It just seems like the most helpless situation you could be in.

sure, maybe you can control these phsyical abilities. but fact is, you'll never activate these reactions instantly like the way fear does. and don't give me that bullshit that you can do that, as far as i can tell you're just all talk.
don't give me that bullshit that you can do that, as far as i can tell you're just all talk.
Perhaps or maybe you just dont want to admit that you are wrong.
Perhaps or maybe you just dont want to admit that you are wrong.
i'm wrong? haha, you have nothing to prove, other than spew shit out of your keyboard like a tough guy. you can't deny it, all you did to this thread was barge in like an asshole and shit on this thread. this thread is here to talk about the scariest things on earth, not to question fear. if you want to do that then make your own thread.

Keep throwing insults around bro, it makes your argument valid.
This thread is a discussion on scariest things on Earth, which relates to fear and all I did was stick to that theme.
You're the wrong one Super... I think you've seen way too many movies.. 'supress fear and just leave the good things out' yeah why mankind hasn't thought of that before.
Even if you somehow learn to do all that without turning into agent 47 or a hollywood badass, fear would probably pump you even more.

well funny thing is you haven't validated your argument at all.
and if you wanted to stick to the topic you'd be talking about something scary on earth, don't kid yourself.

But nothing is scary and so the only way to remain on topic in such a situation is to explain why nothing is frightening, which I did and all you can do is throw out a few insults to try and prove how right you are in this situation.

And so we know it's a troll, good job, you almost got me.

Yep calling troll automatically invalidates any objectionable material and validates anything you say.
Good job sir you won this discussion.

or, you could have not posted at all and just laughed to yourself since you're so immune to fear. right now i'm challenging your views on fear. according to you, that's being on topic, since apparently this topic is now about fear.
scary threads almost always seem to lead to someone saying spiders are scary then people posting a bunch of pictures of spiders.
also, see generally fucking creepy stuff thread.
and robert the doll is NOT scary
/caps
I find myself scary sometimes
Leave him alone, came to a fear thread claiming fear immunity.
You think he's here for the content?
Facepunch is kinda scary
To answer your question (which is technically from my opinion):
People with deep pyschological problems which imply there craving to kill people without mercy or remorse.
Wasps... I just don't like their intimimdating buzz and design, horrible.
Flesh eating parasites (as one said)
Disabled people who have been born stuck to there corneas (spelling fail?)
Just dolls in general creep the fuck out of me.
Zombies. Even though it's impossible, it's still scary.
sharks with lasers attached to their foreheads
Fricken laser beams man.
Haha I'm like 20 blocks away from that doll
Alright. So i had a dream where i woke up at the bottom of the ocean. It was fucking dark, but it was a dream so i knew exactly where i was at. In the distance i could see a little dot. Naturally this dot was a big ass whale but i didn't know it at the time. I was so engulfed in this dream that i started panicking. Just the anticipation of having a big ass whale swim right by you at the bottom of the ocean...scariest thing ever.
