Might be, or might not be, but it sure was fun as hell!
adrenalin causes you to do everything very fast, so it seems like time is passing slowly because it takes less time to do normal things.
When i got hit by a car last october, the adrenaline shock was both the most awesome and freaky experience of my life. I felt no pain, no thirst or hunger, no nothing. Time slowed down, i was able to react more easily and everything.
It was AWESOME.
Adrenaline is crazy stuff.
There was an article about this somewhere, where they showed people very fast flashing numbers while bungee jumping, to see if they were able to read them due to adrenaline slowing down their perception of time.
It didn't work.
Hitting the ground always seems to take so long when you fall.

Apart from the whole getting hit by a car deal
Adrenaline makes you more aware of your area aswell as forces you to look at details. Hence when you're in a fight you'll know what your doing or will black out, and end up almost killing someone.

Oh shit yeah, I remember some little shit pushed a friend off of his skates a few years back, I chased him, tore round the corner of his driveway and slipped on the gravel, cutting my forearm up a treat, I was completely covered in blood. I couldn't feel it at all.
Vengeance was mine however.
Adrenaline increases your reaction. You can think faster, thus everything slows down for you. That's why people like extreme sports, adrenaline rush feels good.
I never got anything like that.

That's not just adrenaline. That's rage, which is dictated by multiple other bodily subtances.

not for me, couple weeks ago i crashed on my 230f and everything was not slow, nor fast
shit hurt like a bitch, though
Hmm I would think time goes faster...

Meh, my bike got most of the damage.
Adrenaline increases your ability to perceive things. Time is a static thing (one hour is 60 minutes), but your perception of time fluctuates based on how much your mind takes in at any given time.
If you are working on an assembly line, after the first while when you have to focus on what you're doing, the days will feel shorter because you aren't really taking much in, and your mind goes into and idle kind of state.
Adrenaline produces the exact opposite effect. When adrenaline is released into the body, it allows your mind to perceive multiple times the amount of information than without adrenaline. Just like a high speed camera is capturing hundreds if not thousands of frames every second instead of the regular 29, your mind is processing a lot more visual data than it regularly is, and everything appears to be going in slow motion. (not saying that the mind sees things in frames, just drawing a metaphor) This is a very primitive and instinctive reaction to danger, allowing us to react with more swiftness and precision if attacked by a predator or something like that.

I wonder why
That's not just adrenaline. That's rage, which is dictated by multiple other bodily subtances.
heh e no its all accounted to adrenaline, otherwise known as epinephrine

If this is true then congratulations, you're less likely to prevent injury and less likely to do well at fast paced physical activity.

(That's the joke - Flux Capacitors don't exist.)
heh e no its all accounted to adrenaline, otherwise known as epinephrine
Wrong. When you black out in a fight it's more to do with the increased amounts of norepinephrine rather than epinephrine which is more associated with fear.
These are dealt with by the pituitary gland, which is also responsible for influencing testosterone levels, another player in this scenario.

He went 88 mph.
By getting ran over by a train, of course.

No fucking way really?
heh e no its all accounted to adrenaline, otherwise known as epinephrine
Adrenaline doesn't make you violent or kill someone. It just boosts your abilities. Rage on the other hand makes you lose control.
Because if you're in a car crash or some other extreme situation, you won't be angry, just scared and pumped with adrenaline. In a fight where your life is endangered because of alive organism will initiate rage that will try to eliminate the threat.
A similar effect can be achieved by consuming high quantities of caffeine, though this is unhealthy, and comes with bad comedown effects.
I don't get the slowdown feeling when riding my bicycle.
But sometimes when the ride is nice time seems to go by faster.
I've experienced slowdowns in dangerous situations though. Usually when something goes wrong and get hit by something. A ball to the face at PE or a car driving into my rear wheel in traffic for example.
Also if you play against bots on tf2 (or any game really) with host_timescale set to 2 or above for a few hours then join a normal server, everything seems to be much slower. Works wonders for practising airblast.

Do you feel endangered when riding a bike? If no, then that's why you don't get a rush.
