Also if you play against bots on tf2 (or any game really) with host_timescale set to 2 or above for a few hours then join a normal server, everything seems to be much slower. Works wonders for practising airblast.
I set it to 25 and everything went rather fast.
I have only gotten an adrenaline rush one time, riding my dad's motorcycle at 100 MPH, I was fucking kicking that shit, OP is right, you feel so fucking fast, like the world is slow but you are mega fast.
make a thread about it
Alien Swarm can do that to a person.
So if I bike really fast I can go back in time awesome
:frog:
I can only recall bolting about three or four times where I was chased by either some random dude with a weapon or cops.
A similar effect can be achieved by consuming high quantities of caffeine, though this is unhealthy, and comes with bad comedown effects.
doesn't feel anywhere near as good either.
I'm lazy as fuck, but do enjoy a good sprint to get the adrenaline going.
Yeah time appears to go by quicker and it can have that effect. Pretty cool and can be good motivation for continuing to do something
Like everyone said, it makes your brain more alert and it goes through information more effectively.
About flow of time
I've used spend a lot of time playing Unreal Tournament 2004. One day I found some mutator, through which you could modify game speed. Of course I was used to play on 1.0x speed. Through mutator I increased game speed to 1.4x and played for an hour. When I decided it's time to stop playing and do some job around the house, everything seemed extremely slow and I was trying to do everything as fast as possible.
You should try doing it
Adrenaline doesn't make you violent or kill someone. It just boosts your abilities. Rage on the other hand makes you lose control.
Because if you're in a car crash or some other extreme situation, you won't be angry, just scared and pumped with adrenaline. In a fight where your life is endangered because of alive organism will initiate rage that will try to eliminate the threat.
I can control myself in while raging in a fight scenario, do a proper martial art and it's easy
Ellis is the proven expert on this subject.
(That's the joke - Flux Capacitors don't exist.)
Not YET they don't!
I can make time speed up.
Yes. Adrenaline increases your ability to gather and process information in a dangerous situation, but at the cost of other functions, which is why when something is trying to claw your face off, holding your piss in is not a top priority.
Is it possible this has something to do with time dilation?
I become filled with the blessing of Khorne and fight with an unnatural and insatiable bloodlust.
Lightning struck about 100 feet from me when I was camping, I could see the line of white hot air streaking down into the ground for what seemed like a minute, but in reality it was there and gone in less than a fraction of a second.
The lightning knocked the bark off the tree it hit.
i fell down the stairs once and it felt like i hit the speedbreaker in nfs undercover
Yes. But it doesn't make the music bad or anything.
This.
I get it, but I just think quicker/maybe move my hands and stuff a little quicker....
It's not like sound is affected or anything.
I don't get adrenaline rushes from running, and I'm normally on the road for a good five to nine miles. However, an adrenaline rush towards the end of a race would be awesome. Being able to not feel anything and pass someone in a pseudo-slow-motion would be so cool.
Unfortunately, I only get runners high at the end of a race. Needs to last from start to finish, man!
I feel like I'm walking super fast after running for an hour on a treadmill and then instantly get off. :v:

Totally unrelated :v:
Do you feel endangered when riding a bike? If no, then that's why you don't get a rush.
One time I was speeding down a steep hill of a crappy road (potholes and chunks of torn up concrete all over) with no breaks toward a railroad crossing and an intersection and I didn't get a rush.
[editline]06:56AM[/editline]
Or the time I was held underwater until I felt like I was drowning. No slow down, but I did get enough strength to pick up the guy and toss him away from me.
The blood flow is much faster wich makes your body react more faster.
When I skateboard It feels like time is slower.
Fight crime using adrenaline.
Doesn't do anything to me. I just get tired.
