And this scene: It was so good. It had me so damn hyped and it was constructed perfectly.
This scene was so good, I had to watch it several times. Fucking perfect.
i watch that scene every week the show is filled with so many jaw-droppingly amazing scenes
How did he beat both Bryan Craston AND Steve Buscemi
Meh, Steve Buscemi is just Steve Buscemi in any role AFAIC.
Next thing we know Sideshow Bob is going to actually kill Bart Simpson.
Kelsey Grammar is the voice of Sideshow Bob FYI. [sp]Also I'm looking forward to the scene where Gus cuts Victor's throat with the box cutter, that guy is such a fucking great actor.[/sp]
What the fuck is this shit?

What a fucking load of horseshit, Kelsey Grammer isn't that good.
What the hell are you guys on about? Bryan Cranston is a phenomenal actor. Breaking Bad has been my favorite show on television since I saw the first season at the time it aired. I've enjoyed watching the organic growth of Walt's character across four seasons and Cranston has managed it beautifully. You guys saw a deserving actor receive a large award and are acting as if your television messiah has just been slaughtered. Cranston got the awards in the first place because he was a comedic actor that made a successful transition to drama. Kelsey Grammer has done the same thing with an IMMENSE amount of skill. Kelsey Grammer isn't that great? Are you serious? Not only is he one of the most renowned comedy actors in television, but he wowed audiences in this past season of Boss (which I doubt many of you even watched) and he was literally the best part of that show. He put everything into it and it showed. He deserved this golden globe. Even though I love Breaking Bad, you guys take it to an extreme and act kind of narrow minded around other TV shows. Are you really going to get angry that Kelsey Grammer, who is every bit of an actor that Cranston is, won a golden globe? Do you think Cranston felt that way? I think that Cranston felt privileged to even be nominated alongside such a titan of television.
How did he beat both Bryan Craston AND Steve Buscemi
Also, you guys aren't even considering the fact that he beat Damian Lewis, who gave one of the most nuanced performances seen in a television series in the past few years. I always considered the top three contestants to be Cranston, Lewis and Grammer, though I absolutely knew that Grammer had it. Everyone knew this was coming, guys.
Meh, Steve Buscemi is just Steve Buscemi in any role AFAIC.
Shut the fuck up, Donny.
AMC says Breaking Bad will return in the 3rd quarter of this year http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/01/14/killing-date-walking-dead/
Kelsey Grammar is the voice of Sideshow Bob FYI.
Why else would he have said it if he wasn't aware?

Just finished the season 4 finale. Probably the best episode of any show I've ever watched. Especially this part (spoiler)
Finally, got my friend to watch the show. He liked the first episode so much he showed 2 more people. [editline]16th January 2012[/editline]
I'm rewatching all four seasons and I'm doing the same. I never noticed [sp]there is a paper model plane above Jr's computer in the second season, but the plane is all broken up into pieces[/sp]. -- Being able to watch Season 4 all in a row instead of week by week makes it all the better, I'm actually enjoying it a lot more. [editline]14th January 2012[/editline] [sp]Walt vs Hank[/sp] Here are some interesting theories: [sp]No one knows what will actually happen, since the writers are good about creating scenarios that no one can predict, but here are some thoughts. 1) Walt will learn that his cancer has returned, and that this time he truly will die. He'll have maybe a year to live. This ironic sting will only enrage him more, taking away from his recent victory over Gus. It will make him even more of a risk taker, a man with nothing to lose. He will go full Heisenberg. This news of the cancer will also renew his mission of earning money to leave his family. Therefore... 2) Walt and Jesse will continue to cook meth, using the car wash as a lab. Like the laundry, the car wash can order large amounts of chemicals without raising suspicions. So how will they sell their meth?... 3) They will sell to Gus's old contacts. Gus and the cartel may be dead, but all of Gus's contacts are still active. There is still a vast network that will gladly buy Walt's meth (as they have been). So how will they make the connection to Gus's old network?... 4) Mike will work for Walt and Jesse. Yes, Mike. He will work for them mainly because Mike doesn't seem like the kind of man that would avenge Gus's death. There is no purpose to that. Mike is a hired gun with lots of connections. So if Walt and Jesse do get rolling again with the network, how will they launder their millions? Remember, Skyler realized late in the game that the car wash is not good enough as a front, saying that "no car wash in the world earns this kind of money"... 5) Skyler will launder the money through Ted's company. She can do this because Ted is not dead. It was implied, but no one actually said he was dead. He may be crippled or even paralyzed, but he is alive. Why would the writers keep him alive at this point? So Walt and Skyler can use Ted's company to launder their money. Ted's company would be perfect. Remember, it's debt-free now, ready to start over. Ted owes Skyler, and he is in deep now. Whether or not he wants to, Ted will agree to aiding their criminal activity, just as Skyler aided his. 6) The chess game of Season 5 will be between Walt and Hank. At this point, the DEA must surely worship Hank. All of his leads and theories have proved true, and his life has been on the line repeatedly. Thus, the DEA will give Hank the full authority and manpower to investigate any leads he wants. Hank and his agents vs. Walt and Jesse and Mike. It will be an intense chess game. 7) Walt will be killed by Hank in the line of fire in the season/series finale. Since Walt is going to die anyway (see theory 1), and he has at this point become somewhat of a monster like Gus, Walt's death will be sad yet satisfying. It will bring closure to the show and a poetic end to the character. Hank will enter this final showdown with Walt only moments after learning/realizing the truth: Walt is Heisenberg. Afterward, Hank will be torn about everything. Yes, he stopped Heisenberg, but at what cost to his family? To balance this, he will choose to not bust Skyler for her involvement. He will somehow let her take her kids and the money, and start life over in Colorado, as was foreshadowed by the coin flip at the Four Corners Monument.[/sp]
All good theories but 5 doesn't make exact sense. [sp]Ted never did anything with the money, he now owes Skyler and the company, instead he bought a new car. [/sp] And I believe the writers had a huge heavy hint [sp]at his death since when Walt barged in, Saul assumed he was pissed about Ted being dead.[/sp]
Finally, got my friend to watch the show. He liked the first episode so much he showed 2 more people. [editline]16th January 2012[/editline] [sp]He had already written the check out before he had the accident, and they said that they knew how much money was in his account when he tried to tell them he didn't have that much. They would be equally pissed if he was just paralyzed, because it would still look like he was forced to write the check against his will.[/sp] All good theories but 5 doesn't make exact sense. One thing I do find weird is: Just how much money has Walt made throughout the series? Because he's paid a lot of money to different shit, like his and hanks treatment, etc.
and the Aztek
that and krazy 8's involvement with the DEA. I mean, he was going to shoot walt in the dessert
that and krazy 8's involvement with the DEA. I mean, he was going to shoot walt in the dessert
IIRC krazy 8 rats dealers out then steals their business, like he did his cousin(?)
IIRC krazy 8 rats dealers out then steals their business, like he did his cousin(?)
that's pretty rude
Rewatching seasons 1-4 and getting my older brother into the show. After watching 3 episodes he just kept saying "Next"; in other words he's hooked. Stayed up until 4 am watching the whole first season a few days ago and now we're starting the 4th today. I've watched the seasons 1-4 once already but watching it again is like watching a new show every time. Breaking Bad is just brilliant.
I was thinking of re-watching it too. Might try an time it so I finish just before season 5
Just finished watching season 4 and I am so glad they didn't leave it at a huge cliff hanger like the last 3. This is one of my favorite shows of all time.
http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lstyx6AFhu1qb6kdto1_500.jpg - Spoilers from Season 4. Never even thought about it.
Warning: spoilers for season 1-4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpWHoOmOl6M&list=LLnQGJw47fVh9LAC9fqVh7nw&index=1&feature=plpp_video
Dammit!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanna watch this so bad, but haven't finished Season 4 yet! Shit, now I have to save it and watch it later. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] On Season 4, episode 2. In episode 1, [sp]I predicted Gus would kill that guy. Damn was it bloody though.[/sp]
Such a good fucking show.

just finished season 4... amazing TV show, looking foward to season 5
just finished season 4... amazing TV show, looking foward to season 5
Is there any word on when it starts?
I'm a bit confused about something from season 3. First off [sp]Jesse uses his $400,000 to buy his aunts house back. Saul said that he could wire his parents the money in cash. Wouldn't there be a huge IRS investigation as to where this guy pulled $400,000 out of his ass? It's a major plot point that Walt can't seem to spend any of his cash, and yet Jesse can do whatever the hell he wants?[/sp] Also [sp]Why the hell does the house change completely? I know the owner of the house (In real life) sold it and they wern't allowed to film there anymore. So they used the renovation as a point to show why it looks different. But now instead of a small front yard with a giant gate and drive way, it's suddenly appeared on a corner block and is about 3 times larger. You'd think they'd find a place that was at least sort of similar. Unless the driveway is out the back and we were constantly shown them entering from there in the first two seasons.[/sp]
I didn't even notice that last part, wow.
