He watched the first episode where Walt and Jesse cook for the first time and Walt changes out of his clothes and just wears an apron. Seriously, watch the show before you rattle off dumb comments like that. [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] He's talking about this. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/MNcuS.jpg[/img_thumb]
He does that for a reason and I think it's hilarious that he's standing there waiting for the cops in just underwear and a shirt while brandishing a handgun.
It's a great show, but I'm sort of tired of the character Walter always having to be so fucking filthy/careless when it comes to hygiene. I mean, sure he takes a shower like everyone else, but it's just nasty having to watch the guy. And why the fuck isn't he wearing boxers. And they always depict him as some old guy that's about to die. And I'm a little bit tired of having to watch him without clothes as often as it happens. And I'm not saying that all TV entertainment needs chicks/boobs, but god christ it would be nice to have some of that for a change. Too make up for all that ugly ass old man shit.
Go watch Baywatch if you just want to look at pretty people.
He's probably the most hygenic character in the show seeing as he doesn't want to cook in normal clothes and takes full precautionary measures before cooking or touching any chemicals.

I've seen it all, great show, great show and all that. I just don't like how the "old" man looks I suppose. Was much more pleasant to watch him on Malcolm in the Middle, oh yes. Thanks for that singular funny rating btw, much appreciated. :tiphat:
I like Walt's new "wealthy" look, no doubt about that. Though why are there no thread about series like 'The Wire' it's a great drug related crime series. Been watching it lately for the 2nd time. And if there are, they don't seem to be active. I can only wonder why... :downs:

I want season 4 now.
I bet it's nowhere near as good or unique as Breaking Bad.
Oh boy how wrong you are.. As for how good The Wire is, imo it's definitely on-par with the Breaking Bad if not better. As for uniqueness, it is unique. The character descriptions are perfect and the whole thing is written and directed so well and the acting is superb, and it has a good realistic pace, a day by day routine of the police and the criminals. Though the Breaking Bad is way more modern than The Wire, and The Wire has a lot more political terms and shit in it, so it takes a little bit more intellectual viewing or you just deem it "boring", which it is not. It's fucking interesting.
God dam grampa lovers!!
God dam grampa lovers!!
People age. Deal with it. Also he's not that old. You just choose to not like this show because you're getting hung up on senseless details.

the wire is great but breaking bad is much better
the wire is great but breaking bad is much better
Oh, I know it is.
the wire is great but breaking bad is much better
God damn you and your powerful opinions [editline]21st January 2011[/editline]
Oh, I know it is.
Something tells me you are maybe gonna watch the wire season 1 and you won't get pass the second season
Something tells me you are maybe gonna watch the wire season 1 and you won't get pass the second season
Probably not. Breaking Bad ruined everything for me. I tried watching Boardwalk Empire because apparently it's an amazing show but I just can't get through it. I think Breaking Bad's effect has worn off a bit though, it's been a while since I watched it, so maybe I'll get BE another go, and The Wire as well.
Hey sorry, this is a little off topic, but does anyone know when the new season is coming out? I'm getting sick of that goddamn cliffhanger.
Hey sorry, this is a little off topic, but does anyone know when the new season is coming out? I'm getting sick of that goddamn cliffhanger.
Not really off topic, it's about Breaking Bad, it's ending and continuation. And July.

It's HBO's series just like The Wire
out of curiosity have you seen 'Oz' ? It's HBO's series just like The Wire
Yeah, it got shitty after a while though. Actually, a show I kind of want to see is Sons of Anarchy. Er.. I think that's what it's called, biker gang show? That's about all I know about it but I heard it's good and I'm curious.

The first two episodes made it seem like a shitty show (given they were actionpacked to seduce more viewers) but anyway it turned out pretty fine! got the season2 ready to watch too
got shitty after a while??? screw you oz is still one of the greatest shows ever made
I just liked the first few seasons more than the rest.
Thinking about streaming the entire series in the next couple of weeks. Would anyone be interested in watching it?
Thinking about streaming the entire series in the next couple of weeks. Would anyone be interested in watching it?
Do it closer to July.
do both
Do it closer to July.
Good idea. I'll plan on streaming seasons 1-3 in the week before the season 4 premiere. The total runtime of the first 3 seasons is ~8 hours, so if people wanted to get caught up they could do so in one day.
I hate the fact that it won't premier until july. It's more than a year from when season 3 ended.
