Nah, pretty sure Krazy 8 was a DEA informant, and a meth distributor as his "side" business. He wasn't a cook like Jesse & Emilio. He wouldn't rat on them either, because they were working together.
Then Walt just walked right in, causing a major distress between Emilio and Krazy 8, resulting in both of their deaths. Walt replaced Emilio as the 2nd cook, and Tuco turned out as the new distributor.

Crazy 8 was a DEA [I]informant[/I]. He ratted out the other distributors at his level and took over their territory. Hank described this. You should listen to Hank more.

It's still fucking great, sometimes the lines of the actors are some-what cheesy or made-up though. I mean you'd notice if you watched Oz like 3 times.
For example,
O'Reily: "You're just a monkey chained to his organ grinder"
Adebisi to that: "You better watch that sweet ass of yours O'Reily"
O'Reily: "No need, you are too busy watching it for me"
That's not a bad example though, but some shit there is a little bit cliche, which would be expected given that it's a 90's show, but still it's just great. A lot better than many of the nowadays hollywood glossy series and shit.

Just watched the whole first season, overall I enjoyed the show but about the last episode, [sp]It didn't really seem like much of a finale, no part of the story really came to any conclusion, I understand that there's more seasons, but you still would have thought some part of the story would develop[/sp]

almost 2 weeks left. goddamn, i still remember when I was at a friend's house and he asked me when the new season was going to air, and I told him "fuck son we still have to wait more than a year..."
