what about kenny wrangler or simon adebisi
Umm Rusty100 you still didn't give any reasons why Oz is "much better" in "every way" characters are not the reason because both series have some very good characters. pretty much all of the characters. i agree on keller and wangler and needless to say adebisi.. also WOLFGANG CUTLER :v: and redding, and miguel alvarez and.. pancamo and DINO ORTOLANI and.. the nazis though they were just fucking dumb. [editline]26th June 2011[/editline] and Warden Glynn. also THE ryan o'reily and don't get me started on the wire characters..
omar the guy that says sheeeeeeeeeeeeyat and um thats about it tbh every character in oz is awesome and memorable the wire just has a handful and someone dies in oz every episode and it's always a main character best show indisputable [editline]26th June 2011[/editline] now STOP TALKING ABOUT THEM IN THE BREAKING BAD THREAD
rusty100 you strike me as somewhat unintelligent viewer
rusty100 you strike me as pretty unintelligent viewer
All he does is watch movies and TV shows, he knows his shit and you are wrong.
indeed he watches movies and tv shows
rusty have you watched the sopranos
If you want to get into more depth there's Marlo Stanfield, the ruthless psychopathic yuppie-esque mob boss Bunk and McNulty, anti-hero cops.
in no other series are there scenes where little-to-no words are spoken, yet it all matters like that crime investigation. and even then, they talk a lot of shit in the wire. way too interesting series if you ask me.

only 20 days left [editline]27th June 2011[/editline] also, what are you taking about with crazy 8 being a dea agent, walt killed him because he was going to eventually come back for revenge
Just finished this :saddowns:. Such a good series, cant wait for season 4. I need something new to watch now, any suggestions?
Well I'm not sure on what series you have watched in the past, but here are some of my suggestions based of the tense dark drama feel of Breaking Bad(In No Order): Six Feet Under The Wire The Sopranos Rome Some of the more light (but still adult) shows to try: Dexter Californication Shameless (US Version) Rescue Me Hope that helped :)
also, what are you taking about with crazy 8 being a dea agent, walt killed him because he was going to eventually come back for revenge
Nah, pretty sure Krazy 8 was a DEA informant, and a meth distributor as his "side" business. He wasn't a cook like Jesse & Emilio. He wouldn't rat on them either, because they were working together. Then Walt just walked right in, causing a major distress between Emilio and Krazy 8, resulting in both of their deaths. Walt replaced Emilio as the 2nd cook, and Tuco turned out as the new distributor.

Crazy 8 was a DEA informant. He ratted out the other distributors at his level and took over their territory. Hank described this. You should listen to Hank more.

Starts slow, but gets good halfway through season 1.
what about kenny wrangler or simon adebisi
this show looks gay as heck [editline]28th June 2011[/editline] they have taken sooooooo long with season 4 hopefully it will somehow be better than season 3
if you actually watched Oz you would not say it's gay as heck [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] keeping in mind it is a 90's show
Oz is pretty gay, there's no denying that. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] It's still fucking great, sometimes the lines of the actors are some-what cheesy or made-up though. I mean you'd notice if you watched Oz like 3 times. For example, O'Reily: "You're just a monkey chained to his organ grinder" Adebisi to that: "You better watch that sweet ass of yours O'Reily" O'Reily: "No need, you are too busy watching it for me" That's not a bad example though, but some shit there is a little bit cliche, which would be expected given that it's a 90's show, but still it's just great. A lot better than many of the nowadays hollywood glossy series and shit. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] Fuck we weren't supposed to talk about these series.
someone should make an oz thread i would but i spent ages making a sopranos thread and no one read it :((
someone should make an oz thread i would but i spent ages making a sopranos thread and no one read it :((
I'll have you.
I'll have you.
Me too. Everybody needs to get James.
I thought this was a Breaking Bad thread?
No, this is a thread where there is a series break and everyone wants to see the next series but can't
I thought this was a Breaking Bad thread?
You missed it. You should really keep up with the times.
Only in Breaking Bad thread have I seen people who have a good taste in television entertainment.
this and dexter. best series
Just watched the whole first season, overall I enjoyed the show but about the last episode, [sp]It didn't really seem like much of a finale, no part of the story really came to any conclusion, I understand that there's more seasons, but you still would have thought some part of the story would develop[/sp]
Unarmed? He basically had a blade.
He stabbed Walt in the leg with his finger. :v: [editline]2nd July 2011[/editline]
I enjoyed season 1 of Dexter, but personally, I think the show is extremely overrated.
It is now. It used to be good.
Walt killed him because he was missing a piece of a yellow plate. Crazy 8 was a DEA informant. You should listen to Hank more.
wow i want to watch the entire series again to see what i missed. almost 2 weeks left. goddamn, i still remember when I was at a friend's house and he asked me when the new season was going to air, and I told him "fuck son we still have to wait more than a year..."
