Jane's dad in prison? Where are you getting that from? Last we heard anything about him was a snippet of news report where they said he had tried to commit suicide, and I don't remember any mention of prison.

I thought that he did actually commit suicide...
they said he was taken to the hospital for a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. i think that's the last we've heard of him.

You hear on the news that he's been rushed to hospital for a self inflicted gun shot wound. I assumed he died.
And yes, Andrea's little brother, whose name I cannot remember.

Tomas I think it was

Everyone is rushed to the hospital, even if they die before authorities arrive. I'm sure he didn't survive.

yaaaaaa

I just remember the news report mentiong something about him being trialed, and for some reason I equated that to him being in prison. Either way that story line is definitely coming back at some point...
By any chance(I'm only on the third season)are the two white body bags in Walt's drive way the two weird Spanish twins or whatever?
Holly shit okay never mind
By any chance(I'm only on the third season)are the two white body bags in Walt's drive way the two weird Spanish twins or whatever?
If you're on series 3 then you should already know that it was revealed in the series 2 finale to be [sp]two bodies from the plane crash[/sp]
Poor Jesse, [sp]I was so glad he stopped using at the beginning of season 3. I know he was trough some serious shit but I wish he had more mental strength and didn't go back to the destructive way of living. Well, at least his cloths got a bit better.[/sp]
Also, I really can't stand Marie. It's not about the acting, actually I think it's great how the actress can make this character unique and for me annoying.
This season is really terrible so far. They need to axe this Gus storyline ASAP, it's been dragging on for WAY too long.
This show is getting stagnant. Season four is bringing nothing new to the table, the story is dead in the water. Jesse feels guilty, Walt is scared, Hank is depressed, Marie is a kleptomaniac and a compulsive liar. We know these things already. Every episode is just reminding us of those things rather than driving the story forward.
I understand that these characters are complex and real, I can appreciate that you've made them all seem human. Hell, the human element is what made the first two seasons of the show so damn good, but the story stops being interesting when the story just becomes those characters wrestling with their emotions. The writing is still top-notch; the dialog is excellent, the characters motivations are clear, their emotional struggles and conflicts make perfect sense considering the things they've been through, but something needs to actually happen to drive this story forward, because we can't just continue watching them deal with the same exact problems they've been dealing with since the end of Season 2.
We need new antagonists, new story arcs, new threats, new challenges, and new successes. Watching every character in the show simply stew in misery has worn me out. If they don't break this cycle soon, it's going to lose me.
This story arc has gone on for far, far too long, and far too little has actually happened to justify its length.
You're wrong. And it's the same as the show's always been, you're just looking for faults since it's in it's fourth season
To be honest, I really like the characters they introduced in season 3, Gus and Mike. That story arc can't end that easily, seeing how Gus wants to become a drug lord and now with the whole Gale incident.
I can't decide which season I like the most, mainly because I watched all three in a matter of days and the story keeps continuing without trying to start something "new" (With Dexter for example, each season was a bit different so far). For that I think each season was great and all the episodes are important.
ohg god why does this show come on when all but like 4 teams in the NFL play on sunday :(

Hurray for dual tuner DVRs
AMC and Sony have decided the 5th season of Breaking Bad will be its last

I'm going to miss it :( But I'm glad they are going to make it an epic series, and not a dragged out one.

I'm glad they wont drag it out, but why? Isn't it AMC that's trying to get it cancelled? Why would they? It's their most popular TV show and ratings are higher than ever. That's usually a perfect target to be dragged on and on.
Oh shit, this is the kind of episode I'm talking about.
Damn, spoke too soon, they're just continuing in a linear fashion. :(
Maybe not, maybe something happened before.

Five seasons is decent. Quality, not quantity, but I think five is plenty.
I hate how they [sp]have you expecting something big to happen and then just throw it away. I get that Jessie wasn't in danger, I expected that. But why didn't Jesse at least attack Mike with the keys, or try to run him over when he was digging up the ground?[/sp]
[sp]They're back together, called it. Wasn't that hard to predict though.[/sp]

[sp]They've pretty much been back together since Skyler admitted she hadn't signed the divorce papers. When they decided to buy a car wash to hide Walter's drug money made it official in my eyes.[/sp]

The Walking Dead is AMC's big ratings show, Breaking Bad only takes in modest amounts of viewers. And the creator of the show has been saying since the beginning that he wouldn't go past 5 seasons tops.

[sp]I know but there was always that doubt. Could have gone either way. Just glad to finally see them get together again. I just hope they aren't setting us up for something tragic.[/sp]

If it's the creator's choice I'm fine. That means he has a plan. I had heard AMC were the ones trying to end it. A show this amazing cannot end prematurely, and it also should not be dragged on.
[sp]WTF Walt, don't let your pride get the better of you[/sp]
Cool, an encore. Watching again.

It seems like [sp]Hank getting obsessed with the Heisenberg case has made him more or less back to normal. He left his room, and was nice to Marie. I'd say that was Walt's intention, but in the preview for next week's episode Skyler says he's over his head.[/sp]
dammit walt why would he do that
I hate how they [sp]have you expecting something big to happen and then just throw it away. I get that Jessie wasn't in danger, I expected that. But why didn't Jesse at least attack Mike with the keys, or try to run him over when he was digging up the ground?[/sp]
[sp] "I am going to attempt to kill an armed man who specializes in killing people, before confirming what his exact intentions are."[/sp]
Also,
[sp]I have the feeling that Gus is having Jesse work for Mike not only to keep him from fucking anything up, but that the 'hero' act could have been Gus trying to isolate Walter. It was no secret to Gus that Walter wanted to kill him in order to save not only himself but also Jesse, which would lead me to believe that Gus thinks Walter will give up once Jesse no longer cares. [sp]Hank's life seems to be based around having a purpose. Once he lost his legs and could no longer do his job, not to mention the lack of a family (Besides Marie), he pretty much lost everything.
Now that he's able to work on the Heisenberg case again, he has a purpose.
Walts intention, on the other hand, wasn't to get Hank to get back on the case. In one of the earlier seasons Walter explodes on Jesse when he finds out that Jesse is using his recipe and selling it as his own. Walter doesn't really like it when people steal his glory (As somebody else said earlier, Walter takes his pride very seriously, such as refusing a pity job/flow of cash from the Grey Matter business), and to hear Hank compliment Gale over things that only Walter did was pretty much doing just that.[/sp]
