Did anyone else get the feeling that [sp]the only reason why Mike gave Jesse a gun was because they want his prints on their for a future setup[/sp]
Awesome episode by the way. :)
[sp]
I couldn't see why they would want his prints on a gun because they aren't really pushing for him to get arrested. If they wanted him gone I'm sure they could just as easily shoot him in the desert and not risk an investigation.[/sp]
I want to see more of Saul's fat bodyguard guy with the irritable bowels.
[SP]I reckon that the cartel talk with Gus was either about control of territories or that they want Walt to cook for them. Gus, despite looking like he can't wait to get rid of him, actually needs him to keep his profits coming in so he said no, thus begins the war.[/SP]
Man, I really like Jesse's jackets.

That is true. Just a thought I had. :)

This show is plain amazing. Now if only they would make more movies to the caliber and cleverness of Breaking Bad then there would be a lot more good movies.
my reaction to the ending of episode seven
"Oh... snap"
knee jerk, the words just came out like when i wake up from a dream yelling out an ex girlfriend's name

why would that bug you? it's clearly not supposed to represent rage accurately, it was just as convenient to use rage over anything else, and it works as cross promotion for id and breaking bad too, i'm sure somebody got paid for that.
it's just like that time dexter was playing halo with the arrow keys, games don't have to be portrayed realistically in shows and they're usually just used to get a message across that 'this is a video game' not 'this is exactly how you play this video game'. why do gamers always have to have a hissy fit at this stuff who cares
fuuuck, the ending of episode 12 in season two. [sp]when that girl chokes on her own vomit. she had it coming though, they really managed to make the audience hate her character by the end of that episode.[/sp]
i'm really loving this series. it is fantastic.

[sp]She was a bit of a bitch but you gotta feel bad for Jessie and sort of Walter.[/sp]

I don't feel bad for Jesse. He knew she was a recovering addict. If he really cared about her, he wouldn't have let her get back into it.
What about Wendy?
What about her?
What about Zoidberg?
What about Bob?

I didn't feel bad for either of them. Jesse was being used and manipulated without even knowing it. Walter did what he had to do to save Jesse from that manipulation.
I see walter constantly looking after jesse. As some sort of surrogate father. Which makes it irritating when jesse completely ignores all the stuff Walter does for him and throws his fits.
How much do you charge for a Wendy, Wendy?

Why don't they start things off like this anymore?
So let me get this straight: The only reason Gus [sp]wants Walt dead is because he's causing too many problems, right? He's always complaining and interfering and trying to be in control. Gus just wants someone who will shut up, cook, and not ask any questions, right? I'm assuming he's trying to get Jesse to learn the recipe like Gale was, so he can turn on Walt and take over. Jesse follows orders and doesn't get in the way.[/sp]
[sp]I highly doubt Jesse is on the same level as Walt or Gale. I mean he dropped out of his highschool chem course if I remember correctly. If anything he's doing exactly what Victor was trying to do.[/sp]

It kinda ruins the illusion though and feels like a horrible product-placement. Even if it probably is there to serve the purpose you said.
It's like when they make fake science or computer stuff up. It gets the point across, sure, but people who actually have practice in those fields would notice and it would break the illusion.
I still think product placement is obnoxious. Some people may not mind it, but I hate it. Pulls me out of the show (and for a show as immersive as Breaking Bad, it can get annoying) and gets my mind on a completely different track.

If it's pure advertisement then it can get annoying. If it adds anything to the show in any way it can be a good thing. The whole Restart or Quit thing was major symbolism to the show. Sometimes having real products such as smartphones and Coca Cola can help you associate the show with real life.
