this is the perfect opportunity for walt to get out of the business
he's got a fucking fortune stashed away and a legit money laundering scheme his fucking wife helps him with
and even if they had to get rid of the fortune they still own a lucrative business
Didn't notice it because you find it annoying.
The blatant product endorsement, yes, I find it annoying. They had a whole intro segment devoted to the game, remember? So I noticed that.

I stay the fuck out of here until I've seen the episode. Common sense.

Fuck, that incident at the end of the episode. I really wish their relationship was more friendly.
walt is such an egotistical douchebag
he is my least favorite character

Fixed
skyler is the only one who knows what the fuck to do and how to keep her cool.
whenever something unexpected happens walt freaks out and is totally uncool about it

He is, but at the same time, he's not usually wrong with what he does. When he has a hunch, it's normally a pretty good one. He seems to be off with what he thinks about Jesse towards the end of the last episode, but he's had to be who he is to keep himself as safe as he has.

Sometimes. It seems for the most part she meddles in shit and over complicates things.
the preview for the next episode is fucking brilliant
not just because of what happens, but just because of how simple, contained, and quality it is
and everybody loves saul
i used to like skyler, then i hated her, now i like her again. she's extremely resourceful and honestly she's someone i'd like to have on my side.
i now love gus, especially after the sniper scene.
and considering walt has cancer and a bunch of decades on jesse, jesse got his fuckin ass kicked.

Gus is such a fucking badass.

I've been siding with Gus since [sp]we saw his friend die. If it weren't for him trying to get rid of Walt, I'd be fully supporting him.[/sp]
I like how now we finally know the whole story about Gus in the cartel. I was wondering why in the first 2 seasons, drug dealers were dying every few episodes, and now he's been with Gus for 2 seasons. Now you realize basically all the main drug dealers killed in seasons 1-3 were all with the cartel. And now he's on the other half which is Gus.
So basically he's not spending more time with Gus than anyone else like I thought. He spent the first half of the series with the cartel, but just didn't know it, now he's with Gus.
I liked Gus right from the beginning, but thats probably just because I have good instincts.
[editline]14th September 2011[/editline]
Actually its probably because he's well organized and dresses handsomely.
Walt is awesome and a very intimidating man. That is all.
Jessie is a confused pussy that may have very well, through lack of action, caused harm to Walt. Besides, he is the ONLY reason Walt is in danger. We can't forget that if he would have just left those two dealers alone, like Walt said, then Gus would not have needed Gale, and Walt would not have had to have Jessie kill him, the Gus wouldn't want to kill Walt. So really, Jessie has killed Walt single handily. Or at least put one of his feet into the grave.

Also, where's Walt jr. been?

well there's still the whole it's walt's fault that Jesse's in this at all. If it wasn't for walt, Jesse would've escaped the house in the first episode unharmed.
I'm not against walt though. I root for them to stick together either way
Lets be honest, Jessie hasn't OD'd (which he would have), and is making more money than ever thanks to Walt. Walt is almost getting killed thanks to Jessie's irrational and irresponsible actions.
My point is that them arguing is that much more.......wrong. It just doesn't feel right. It's like watching two of your friends, who are really good buddies, get into a violent and bitter argument. It's just awkward and uncomfortable.
gus needed gale ever since he knew walt has cancer.
just now instead of letting walt die on his own he had a need to kill him as he became quite a liability, like you guys say, thanks to jesse.
[editline]15th September 2011[/editline]
the thing with jesse though is that he's much less of a hardass than he thinks he is, which is common among youth. he lacks wisdom so while he is quite a dick it's only because he's human
I'm really liking this show, it has characters you're supposed to hate on paper but they're just so human, justified or both that you can't help but love them. i love anything really that's well written and has no black and white just a giant array of shades of grey.
that's really the best part about this show, it's kinda how life is. everything can appear black and white but if you objectively peel away at the layers its such an array of different shades it makes morality this dead thing on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
that kind of story telling makes a show or whatever media incredibly dynamic. instead of rooting for someone because you have to or they're really written to be lovable bastards (like zorg from fifth element) you can root for anyone you want. there is no good or bad, everything just is.
This show is amazing.

Thats the great thing about this show. There really isn't a definite good or bad.
Except for the cartel. Those guys are definitely bad.

You don't know the back story of these cartel members, who knows if they're bad? For example, Gale did nothing wrong, but died because it was either his life or Walt's and Jesse's. Maybe the cartel has someone with a gun to their head and the only way they can save themselves is to take down Gus's empire.
I love how everything in this show is gray and is up to the viewers to decide whether these characters are good or bad. In my personal opinion, neither Jesse or Walt are bad people. They aren't the villains I sympathize with, they are the heroes that deserve my support.
I'm surprised how every actor in those AMC commercials say that Walt and Jesse have officially gone off the deep end when it comes to being good or bad. Though they might have to say that so people don't "break bad" because the people on TV say it's fine.
Drug cartels are bad by default, as shown by real life
I dont think I could ever stop rooting for Walt. Maybe Jessie if he keeps screwing things over for Walt. But never Walt.
Drug cartels are bad by default, as shown by real life
I know as a whole the organization is looked at as bad, but maybe not the specific members dealing with Gus. Walt was technically working for the cartel when he supplied Tuco.

I feel the opposite. I don't think I'd stop rooting for either of them. But Jesse has really wised up lately, and Walt hasn't really changed for the better at all.
I've always liked Jesse more, I think.
I like Jesse, especially after he stopped using and I do like Walt, too, but I hate how he sometimes treat Jesse like shit without giving Jesse chance to properly explain.
I like Jesse, especially after he stopped using and I do like Walt, too, but I hate how he sometimes treat Jesse like shit without giving Jesse chance to properly explain.
He still thinks that Jesse is stupid meth-addict, but he is now more intelligent
Jessie's wised up a little bit, but he's still completely oblivious to what Gus is doing. As evident by last week's episode.
Honestly, my favorite character is Mike.
Especially in the first few episodes where he was a badass cleaner go-to kind of guy.
Calm in any situation.
Especially in that scene where he infiltrates a place and kills all those people with only a silenced pistol and a bunch of balloons. And then shoots the asian dude in the hand and told him to have the asian chick take him to the hospital. My favorite scene.
mike owns best character of anything ever forever
I read Mike was only supposed to be a minor character in a couple of episodes but he was so popular they kept him in. Good decision.
