Yeah, Mike is cool as hell. That scene with him taking out all those guys in the factory/building came out of nowhere and I loved it. He lost a bit of respect for me in the latest episode where he got pissed of at Walt.

Watching the first season all over again shows Walt use to act like he was a nobody and everyone can push him around. That's what I love about Breaking Bad. The development in his character is extraordinary. I can only imagine by season 6 he becomes who Gus is. After seeing that flashback [sp] of Gus when he first got into the business reminded me of Walt when he first started out[/sp].

I bet the season will end with Hank busting the Cartel instead of Gus's operation based on a moral dilemma: End his own up-coming career (because Walter is involved) by putting the hit on Gus or the Cartel, losing nothing.

he's probably the only main character in this show that never truly lost their shit.. well, if you don't consider gus turning that dude into a pez dispenser losing his shit.. actually you did see gus cry but that was long ago.
The other guy getting killed did affect him though. when he dug out the blood from his fingernail. But thats the closest I've seen to emotions.

Jesse has indeed wised up a significant amount.
walt has had an intense personality change, which makes him handle the situation better than he would as the man he used to be, however he has no sense whatsoever when it comes to jesse, and both have no idea whatsoever of the situation, each is missinformed from what the other knows, walt has no idea how much jesse is (was) on his side but jesse fails to realise exactly what walt needs and is asking of him.
also, when walt talks to gus, anytime he talks to gus, he goes at it the wrong way.
Jesse is such a boss.

Wow, Walt had me choking up there for a minute. Seriously, Bryan Cranston is hands down my favourite actor now, he's incredible. Going to see Drive just 'cause he's in it, and Ryan Gosling hasn't let me down yet.
Also, these guys are in really deep, I don't see this ending happily with them on top the way I had hoped.

Holy fuck, Gus is a badass.
Holy FUCK that was amazing. I was just thinking everyone there was going to die but I didn't see that method coming. Gus is awesome, he's so cold and calculating even when he's committing mass murder. I was having a hard time with him because he's an adversary of Walt's, but he is quite the badass. I hope they're both okay.
That was like a scene out of a Scorsese film.
