That was fucking awesome
Oh, I'm sorry. Let me correct myself: THIS was the best goddamn episode of the fucking season. Holy shit, that finale beats the flashback finale two episodes ago.

Good episode.
[SP]I knew that Gus was going to poison him as soon as the guy took out the bottle. Just a few episodes ago I was so angry Jesse didn't have the guts to poison Gus, now I'm hoping Gus makes it through this alive. Forget Walt. Gus, Jesse, and Mike are now officially the most bad ass team in the show. Did Jesse actually kill that guy at the end, or just shoot him? Walt almost had me in tears during that one scene. But even though Walt isn't as clueless to the whole business as he was in the first season, Jesse has now far surpassed him in just a basic understanding of what's going on.[/SP]
I love how Gus brushed off his shirt as he was leaving the bathroom. [sp]They've done a great job making Gus into a bad ass and getting us to root for him. I really hope he and Mike are okay.[/sp]
lol i started reading comments and realised that they are from ep 10 which hasnt aired here yet :( better leave the thread till tomorrow
lol i started reading comments and realised that they are from ep 10 which hasnt aired here yet :( better leave the thread till tomorrow
Yeah, probably shouldn't come into this thread until you've seen the latest episode.
[sp]Hahahhaha they killed the cartel's higher ups.[/sp] Rusty don't discriminate against the spoiler tag impaired.
[SP]OH SHIT MIKE GOT SHOT I really hope hes okay, but I still dont really care if gus dies.[/SP]
[SP]That episode was friggen awesome. Mike better be okay, and I really wish Jessie wasn't forced to shoot yet another person.[/SP]
I've come to realize his son is one of those handicap people who doesn't appreciate anything given to them unless it's the best. It's a damn car at age 16 and I pretty expensive one. Yeah it's an old persons car but it's something that drives. I can't believe [sp]Walt called his own son Jesse, that was shocking[/sp] And when [sp]Jesse talked big like that and told those mafuckas what to do and to do it his way, was pure badass of him. He's getting some major balls[/sp]
Maybe I'm being optimistic, but I think that Gus took Jesse just to plan out this entire scheme. I'm sure behind Gus's intimidating facade, he understands that he cannot take Jesse away from Walt, as shown by when he looks over the Cartel's pool water reminiscently. [SP]Also, what did Gus take the pill for?[/SP]
that was such a spectacular episode
can anyone pm me a link to an hd download of the new episode i missed it and don't want to skim through this thread and risk spoilers
what the fuck made you guys think it's okay to give a running commentary of a show and not use any spoilers? cut that shit out I don't care if you think people should not come in before they've seen it. it's a show discussion thread, there are 4 seasons to watch and discuss surely if you love the show so much, you wouldn't want someone new to it who is catching up to get this stuff spoiled when they stumble into the thread not expecting OVERT spoilers i mean come on guys seriously
[sp]Do you guys think Mike was going to shoot Jesse at the very end of the episode before he (Mike) got shot?[/sp] [sp]When I first saw it, I thought immediately that was the intention, then I brushed it off as my eyes tricking me. Re-watching it now, it certainly seems like it was possible...Mike's gun definitely was pointed at Jesse after Jesse moved to get into the passenger seat, intentional or not.[/sp]
I think [sp]Gus just want to move the whole business to Mexico and simply leave Walter behind. My thinking is: - I don't think Gus would do the deal with the Cartel that Jesse mentioned but rather try to take it over or something. This will obviously fail and bring Walter into the business again. - The DEA is closing in on Gus, he would want to move the business elsewhere. - Easier to bring Jesse willingly rather than kidnap Walt and bring him to Mexico. - Skyler has been whining about getting Walt out of the business.[/sp]
[sp]Don't think I was too far off. I think it's a golden opportunity to move the production to Mexico to escape the DEA investigation but it doesn't look like it will ("either we all go home or we all stay").[/sp]
This episode was amazing. I laughed, cried, and raged all in the same episode.
For the first time this season, an episode redeemed itself. Its about fucking time.
[SP]Also, what did Gus take the pill for?[/SP]
[SP]Most likely an antidote for the poisoned alcohol.[/SP]

Absolutely amazing. One of the best episodes so far.
Well, that was a great episode, I especially loved how Walt [sp]regretted the fight with Jesse. I wish he would apologize to Jesse and he accepted it but I'm already seeing how Jesse would just go fuck you or Walt not actually having the guts to say sorry.[/sp]
Bit of trivia. The name of the latest episode was 'Salud' "Salud means to your health in Spanish and is used as a toast. (interjection) An example of salud is what is said when you raise your glass of wine after a toast at a wedding."
For the first time this season, an episode redeemed itself. Its about fucking time. [SP]Most likely an antidote for the poisoned alcohol.[/SP]
[sp] It was probably charcoal. "The medical use of activated charcoal is mainly the adsorption of poisons, especially in the case of suicide attempts in which the patient has ingested a large amount of a drug." [/sp] Also, on another note [sp] Walt calls his son Jesse, which shows that he sees Jesse almost as his own son. [/sp]
[sp] It was probably charcoal. [/sp]
[sp]Maybe it was something off this list? http://www.uic.edu/com/er/toxikon/antidot.htm[/sp]

Maybe he would know that enough of the poison was gone once he had thrown up whatever he had swallowed before drinking the wine.[/sp] I could be wrong, though.
Inb4 everyone analyzes the pill scene with way too much depth.
Here's what I think: [sp]The pill that Gus put in his mouth prior to the scene where he gave the drink as a present acts as an anti oxidant perhaps, or at least slows it down. I believe Gus is going to turn out alright, although I can't say the same for Mike though, he got shot about 5 times so...[/sp]
[sp]test[/sp]
It works.
