How much money did Walt actually earn? I thought he had way more than 600k
Wasn't the original deal from Gus something like 3 mil for the year? Although I don't think they've given an actual time frame of how long Walt's been working with them, it couldn't have been much longer than a few months, plus he had to buy the car wash, pay Saul for all the various services, and there must be other stuff that I can't think of right now
It lacks more detailed characters.. You hardly get to relate to any of the characters besides from Walt and Jesse and few others.
If you want a show that has perfect characters and a perfect plot then you should check The Wire. It's a lot better than BrBa, it's a lot better than any other TV series.
BrBa is cool and all but there is some needless drama-seriousness..
This is the wrong-est post in the world
How much money did Walt actually earn? I thought he had way more than 600k
Well they've been [sp]paying bills over time, bought a car wash for almost 1 million dollars, gave 600k away to Ted, bought a new car, and have been paying for Hank's hospital bills.[/sp]
I'm actually quite glad that [sp]Ted's dead, he was really starting to get on my nerves as a character who was just getting in the way[/sp]
This is the wrong-est post in the world
Alright then, I'll make it the most true-est post in the world; The Wire is better than BreakingBad.
Alright then, I'll make it the most true-est post in the world; The Wire is better than BreakingBad *In my opinion.
fixed.
Yeah well you could say that. But you just said you haven't seen The Wire.
BrBa is still good, a decent show. Entertaining, and not exactly a slow series but when for example Skylar visited the crossing of 4 different states, I KNEW it was just one-time thing like "whoa, she almost left or something" and was never brought up again.
Also lol Jesse first playing videogames in his basement, then suddenly moves upstairs. The point? No point.
I could go on. And I will;
Tuco's cousins crawling in Season 2 start. And all the people crawling. Obviously they held the girm reaper-statue type deal in high regards, but that scene was also forgotten and never explained. Neither was the statue really.
Also few episodes ago Jesse on the mood for angst, turning up the volume of his speakers and then sitting down to have his ear drums blown. The point? No point.
Oh no Jesse plays vidya, show is ruined.
I never said playing vidya ruined the show, hell the show is not even ruined, some elements are just poorer. Did you not read what I said? Or maybe you are just an unintelligent viewer who's easily entertained by anything "EXTREME, BADASS, DANGER" which BrBa is all about.
Though I love the twists in this series. Especially the first two seasons.

Not a slow series? What?
Skylar visited the crossing of 4 different states, I KNEW it was just one-time thing like "whoa, she almost left or something" and was never brought up again.
She was debating IF she did leave the state, where would she go. I also feel like that because she was pissed at Walt, she needed some "alone" time.

I don't understand

it's a ritual from a religion -- celebrating or worshipping the dead

Jessie was depressed/angry/regretting about shooting Gale.
The characters in Breaking Bad are complex and if you can't understand them, stop watching the show. I answered your questions in one sentence, but I could easily write much more explaining much more. I'm not going to do that, because I don't feel like explaining it to you.
Alright then, I'll make it the most true-est post in the world; The Wire is better than BreakingBad.
The Wire is great but not as good as Breaking Bad.
PS Oz is better than the Wire. truth
BB > Oz > Wire. might as well be factual.

dumb dumb dumb, and wrong
and stop saying BrBa, it looks retarded. who actually shortens anything like that?

Yeah.. nah.. Your answers are kind of bullshit.
What ritual of what religion? Why wasn't it practiced more than once? Because it was simply to overwhelm the viewers with badassery. Celebrating OR worshipping, you don't even know!
Also the part you didn't understand; Jesse playing RAGE in his basement (remembering Gale's death too) and suddenly moves upstairs with the game consoles. So he played the game because he was depressed about Gale, okay. Then ear drums blown out, because playing videogames in your basement wasn't enough.
Also yeah sure Skylar needed some "alone" time out in the boonies at states crossing. Yeah no, knowing the character she can be erratic but that was just some poor writing.
And no, the characters are anything but complex. Only Jesse and Walter and few others are "complex" like Walt who has changed alot/gone through alot. Other than that, new characters like the Cartel people, they were just introduced to us, we didn't know shit about them (a little bit from their past with mr. Fring) and then they died after they had been flexing their muscles and threatening people. "Complex" my hairy ass.

burrbah

That's generally how I pronounce it.
Don't judge me, I'm a loyal fan!

He didn't have any points.. nor was it his intention of posting at the time. So I don't get your point, besides from saying that you are kind of dumb.
Anyway I too like the show. Some things about it just makes me sigh in frustration.

You're trying to hard. You might as well complain that they didn't explain the significance of Walter wearing glasses.

Who gives a shit? They were obviously praying to their god of death or whatever to help them succeed with assassinating Walt, what's not to get here?
Also the part you didn't understand; Jesse playing RAGE in his basement (remembering Gale's death too) and suddenly moves upstairs with the game consoles. I kind of took that as him coming to the realization that this is the game he's in, so he better learn to play.
Also yeah sure Skylar needed some "alone" time out in the boonies at states crossing. Yeah no, knowing the character she can be erratic but that was just some poor writing.
I kind of agree with you, but this shows to me how Skyler is split. One half of her is moral and afraid and wants to get out, the other is tempted by the money and power afforded to her by Walt's business and her continued involvement in keeping it under wraps.
And no, the characters are anything but complex. Only Jesse and Walter and few others are "complex" like Walt who has changed alot/gone through alot. Why does every character have to be complex? Why does the Cartel need to be anything more than they were? The Cartel situation is what makes Gus and Jesse more complex, they're really irrelevant as individuals themselves. I see them as more of a conflict that needed resolving in order to show Gus's motives and just how cunning and dangerous he really is, as well as show Jesse's progress in stepping up and being tough as nails and getting shit done the way he finally realizes he needs to. And it probably goes deeper than that in a way I'm not seeing but that's good enough for me.

I LOVE The Wire, but lets be honest, season 2's seaport characters, nobody liked them.
Why does every character have to be complex?
Nah not necessarily, someone just flat out said "breaking bad characters are ALL COMPLEX like as if I know what complex mean!!1"
But no they don't you're right. But they got to be interesting and hooking, you know? Not just another weird-badass-crazy character to spice up the episode and dying in the next.
And obviously we perceive the things differently I guess.
I LOVE The Wire, but lets be honest, season 2's seaport characters, nobody liked them.
Yeah well I didn't care for them much either. But the fact that they were lame, plain dock workers made them pretty great (+ the bureaucracy t'was interesting), since they acted it great.
Much like some of the random cops in the series who can barely even get out of the chair due to being over weight drunken lazy cops, they also played their roles perfectly!
What ritual of what religion? Why wasn't it practiced more than once? Because it was simply to overwhelm the viewers with badassery. Celebrating OR worshipping, you don't even know!
Why the hell do you need more of an answer than "its a religious ritual"? It answered your question which was "What were they doing".
You have your right to your opinion. You don't like certain aspects of the show, thats fine. But your reasons are kinda lame.
It lacks more detailed characters.. You hardly get to relate to any of the characters besides from Walt and Jesse and few others.

This is true, about the characters. While the characters in Breaking Bad are all great, most of them are pretty one note, with some even verging on cartoonish. But this is less of a character show than The Wire was so it's excusable.
Huel is obviosly the deepest and the most complex character in the series. Gekkosan, you understand nothing.

The show is about Walt, and Jesse. Everyone else is secondary or less. When you start trying to develop 24 characters on an equal level, things get too complex.

Not necessarily. The Sopranos was about Tony Soprano, yet that show had one of the largest casts in history and almost every single supporting character was just as deep as Tony himself.
Not trying to slam Breaking Bad, just saying it's not much of a character show, which is why I think it tends to drag when the plot is at a standstill. Episodes like this, however, are fantastic.
