Yeah, I think [sp]Jesse just wasn't good enough to pull the wool over Gus' eyes, thus tipping him off[/sp]
Either that or [sp]Walt's bald head acted reflected the sun's light, acting as a sort of beacon.[/sp]
If only Walt had never shaved his head, who knows how the final episode would have played out.
I think it was [sp]Jesse tipping him off, seeing as he looked at the car before the rooftops.[/sp]
Does anyone else hate it when shows go into an [sp]end times mode? Like where nothing will ever be the same in any way? Most shows seem to do this right before their final season. I just don't like the idea of never seeing Saul again and whatnot. Shows always depress me when I see a main character closing up shop like that.
I'm not saying it's bad writing, it's obviously great writing if they can make me care so much.[/sp]
You know what's weird, there was no [sp]mention of Ted this episode.[/sp]
[sp]And where's Mike? Are we going to see him before the end, do you think?[/sp]
[sp]And where's Mike? Are we going to see him before the end, do you think?[/sp]
Maybe Mike will [sp]kill Gus, or at least help Walt and Jesse. Maybe the whole time Mike's "perfect servant" thing was an act.[/sp]

[sp]What possible reason could he have to betray Gus though?[/sp]
[sp]What possible reason could he have to betray Gus though?[/sp]
[sp]It is possible he would betray Gus as a result of him being left behind in Mexico. But if you ask me that's kind of flimsy, and I'm hoping something more striking happens in the final episode. I'm sure they won't dissapoint.[/sp]
[sp]What possible reason could he have to betray Gus though?[/sp]
Mike has been partners with Gus for years. [sp]He's seen all the terrible things Gus has done to innocent people, including children. With he himself having a granddaughter, the cartel out of the way, and Gus and Jesse in full force, now would be the perfect time for him to make his move.[/sp]
One thing is for sure though, Walt and Jesse need to [sp]plan down every conversation to perfection the next time they plan to murder someone. First chili powder meth and now this?[/sp]
Let's hope Walt doesn't [sp]go crazy again and accuse Jesse of sabotaging their plan.[/sp]
[sp]What could have possibly tipped him off or inspired him to stop, look around and leave?[/sp]
[sp]It was the way Jessie was acting. Gus isn't dumb. He noticed something "odd" about the way Jessie was acting. As he was walking back to his car, I think he realized it MIGHT be a trap. I think he played the "better safe than sorry" card.[/sp]

[sp]Yeah, Jesse really doesn't know how to just stay cool and keep his mouth shut. Add another fuck up to the tally.[/sp]
Next week's the season finale.
I bet [sp]Walt & Jesse will try to kill Gus but fail and escape, and it will end with Hank, Marie, Walt, Jesse, Walt Jr. and the baby all escaping, then season 2 will be them just trying to not die from Gus.[/sp]
So every time we hear the heartbeat, should we just expect Walt to start laughing? :v:

You DO realize we are 4 seasons in right?

Yeah, season 2 is gonna be awesome. In fact, I think it may have the most explosive season finale of the series.
It's weird, the second to last episodes of the first three seasons all seemed to be more shocking and surprising than the actual finales for each season.
Episode 1x06 had [sp] Walt go all badass as Heisenberg which was a first for him. while 1x07 ended with a crazy junkie beating his partner half to death.[/sp]
2x12 had [sp]Jane die, which was incredibly shocking to me when Walt did nothing about it. I agreed with his decision, but most TV shows don't give you the satisfaction of watching something like that play out without the main character at least trying to save a life. 2x13 had the plane crash, which was big, but not as personal as Jane. It's like that quote about one death being a tragedy and a ton being a statistic.[/sp]
3x12 [sp]had Walt run over and kill 2 drug dealers. This was different than the ending to 3x13 because Jesse was and looked incredibly emotional and distressed when he killed Gale. But in 2x12 Walt comes out of nowhere and shoots a guy in the head with no remorse or thought.[/sp]
[sp]But this episode to me didn't seem as shocking as the other 3 season's second to last episodes.[/sp]

This whole season has been off somehow. It's missing a certain something. First and foremost, I don't think they've done a single episode where there's a situation at the start, that's revealed later. Actually, there was the fight between Walt and Jesse, but that wasn't really as big a deal as some of the previews we've seen. Or how 'bout that mariachi band opening? There's no fun or charm really, it's just all intense drama and it keeps picking up where it left off, there are no self contained episodes so to speak.
Wow, looks like AMC really is promoting RAGE. http://www.amctv.com/

Walking Dead should do that, then maybe they'd have a budget.

I think the show works much better this way. It's not a conventional drama in structure, and it has a very small cast, so having self contained episodes just doesn't work as well. I'm glad it's pushing the bar in terms of structure, cause that's something most tv shows don't do, no matter how good they are.
Is Gus the Terminator? How the fuck did he know?
Theory:
[sp]Gus really didn't poison the kid. When he heard that he was poisoned from Jesse, he figured Walt was the one who did it to turn Jesse against him.
This would mean that Walt poisoned a kid just to protect himself and his family. That's hardcore.[/sp]
I think [sp]the cig just fell out of Jesse's pocket and the kid smoked it out of curiosity[/sp]
Occam's razor
[sp]I don't think the writers of the show would pass just having a cigarette fall out of Jesse's pocket because Brock almost dying impacted him a lot.[/sp]
Not as intense as the last episode, but the ending certainly almost made me think [sp]Walt was going to get caught.[/sp]Also dear fucking god I can't wait a week for the last episode, I have a bad feeling about this ending from what Cranston has said about it. It's supposed to be really shocking with 2 extremely big things before it. Fuuuuuck.

[sp]I would prefer either of these to Gus having Brock poisoned, but the Walt route would be the most unexpected and shocking, so it's definitely something that should be expected. It'd be on par with their level of writing, and I wouldn't put it below Walt (I should say Heisenberg) to pull something of this extreme to protect himself and his family, he watched Jane die after all. That's definitely the path they should take.[/sp]

You do realize you can't trust the things they say in the "Inside Look" videos because they only try to throw you off the plot trail.
[sp]Let's take a look at this, because this is just going to be another stupid conspiracy theory repeated by a bunch of morons incapable of thinking of these things in an actual logical fashion. There are 3 situations here, Gus poisoned Brock, Walt did, or Jesse dropped the cigarette or something and Brock was just unlucky and tried to smoke it or something. The last one is not very likely at all but hey, it's a vague possibility.
The only way it could have been Walt, which was pointed out in the scene with Jesse and Walt, is if Saul helped him. Walter may be able to act in an 'immoral' fashion, Saul as well, but if you imagine any scenario where Walt brings up this idea and Saul doesn't object, you're probably reaching pretty far. (And Saul would have to do it WILLINGLY, no gun to the head scenario, the preview for the next episode has Walt looking for Saul because he needs his help) Not to mention the only one who COULD have taken the cigarette was Huell, and you can watch that clip of him feeling up Jesse as many times as you want but that's not what happened. Jesse still had his pack of cigarettes, so he would have had to taken it out stealthily, and put the pack of cigarettes back in his pocket. It wasn't Walt & Saul.
Lets take a look at the possible reasons Gus would have poisoned Brock: Oh wait, there's too many to even list here. Gus has every reason in the world to be behind it, and it lines up PERFECTLY with EVERYTHING Gus has been trying to do, turn Jesse against Walt, Kill Walt and have Jesse on his side cooking for him, all in one move.
And the last possibility, idk, doesn't seem likely enough to even look to deep into it, it was either an accident or Gus was behind it, those are the 2 possibilities.[/sp]
their facial expressions when [sp]jesse held the gun[/sp] are awesome
i think walt will end up going insane
[sp] walt's daughter poisoned brock and teams up with mike to kill gus[/sp]
[sp] walt's daughter poisoned brock and teams up with mike to kill gus[/sp]
[sp]This is the best ending[/sp]
[sp]Whomever poisoned Brock, I have a feeling we'll never find out. Honestly, I think it's better that way anyway, since I could likely see any of the three possibilities being likely.[/sp]
Without spoiling it, how good is the new episode? Can't watch it until like 5pm
very
i really like skyler, she's so cool about the whole thing given the circumstances of the entirety of everything.
i recently made this connection as well, she really looks like this one girl from my old rehab. the girl was super chill, probably one of the only girls there who wasn't completely fucknuts crazy the way girls can be. so much so they let her be in a relationship during her first phase in the program, which you're not allowed to have relationships in unless it's a really legit not co-dependent or fucked up in any way sort of one.
stop talking about how you were crazy nobody cares
