[sp]We never found out how Gus knew about the bomb on his car[/sp]
[sp]Jesse told him that Brock was poisoned with Ricin, and since Gus didn't do it he must have figured that it was Walt's doing, so he must have known something was up and that it was probably a trap.[/sp] [editline]11th October 2011[/editline]
I really liked the finale but the part when [sp]gus walked out, coolly straightened his tie, and collapsed with half his fucking face missing[/sp] really pissed me off. It tarnished the episode for me. It was completely unrealistic and made no sense just for the sake of "being badass". ugh. I'll never be able to look past that. Terrible production decision imo Like for christ's sake [sp]the explosion obliterated the room and caused damage to the adjacent rooms and blew the door out. it makes absolutely no sense that he survived the blast at all, much less with half his face fucked up and him able to just walk out the door for a more stylish death.[/sp] fucking hell I could go on about this forever it was just awful I really enjoyed the rest of the episode though
Yeah you're right, it would have been a much better episode if [sp]he died peacefully and was buried the following Sunday.[/sp]
[sp]I'm glad that Tyrese guy also got blown the fuck up. I was getting tired of his smug face.[/sp]
Yeah motherfucker

Um, anyone wondering about mike?
Um, anyone wondering about mike?
I was thoroughly expecting Mike to show up at the end, I was disappointed nothing happened. You could hear the car in the carpark below, I assumed it was relevant but apparently not.
Looking very much forward to season 5.
Yeah motherfucker
So many captions.. just waiting to happen..
Breaking Bad is easily the best show on tv right now, seriously the writing is amazing.
[sp]Yeah you're right, it would have been a much better episode if [sp]he died peacefully and was buried the following Sunday.[/sp]
Because that's exactly what he's upset about. Unrelated to Breaking Bad, but check it out. Saul and Badger promoting the new Black Keys album. At least I think that's Badger.
For a mother fucker who has pretty much said nothing through 3 seasons now, the old guy who plays Tio is one damn good actor.
the series should end with walt and jesse doing something badass together, since them [sp]burning the lab together[/sp] is one of the best scenes in the series, me thinks
the series should end with walt and jesse doing something badass together, since them [sp]burning the lab together[/sp] is one of the best scenes in the series, me thinks
I don't think it's going to end on a happy or badass note at all.
the series should end with walt and jesse doing something badass together, since them [sp]burning the lab together[/sp] is one of the best scenes in the series, me thinks
prob going to end with walt dying.
at least one of them will probably die in the next season

[sp]You can see his expression (mostly his eyes) change when he sort of clues into the fact that half his face is gone and he should be dead, and then he drops dead[/sp] [sp]To be honest, they could have done it a bit better, maybe him walking out of the dust in the room with all of his face and body all fucked up, and then falling over, so not just half his face. The only unrealistic thing about it is that explosions dont tend to blow off your features in such a symmetrical way. But him surviving it initially is not out of the question[/sp] But in the end, who really cares. it's television, and sometimes symbolism and dramatic effect is more important than realism.

Minimal fragmentation. Turn your head to the side and the bomb is physically incapable of dealing damage to the far side. The door is blown off its hinges because the room suffers a massive increase in pressure. This is why windows and doors are the first to go in a room, they are the easiest avenues of escape for the pressure buildup. Yes, this does mean that large rooms or open windows/doors can drastically decrease the effectiveness of an explosion. A plot against Hitler was stopped due to just such factors. Bombs are weird. They don't work like people think they do. Movies portray them as blowing everything up, but a simple explosion with small amounts of fragmentation that would be provided by a pipebomb simply isn't going to manage that. As to the likelihood of walking away after that, even briefly, I dunno. Head trauma is odd. You are hitting a very powerful computer that is inside a bone casing. Trauma again doesn't always work the way it would seem. There is nothing vitally important between your skin and the bones of your skull, so a concussive force that fails to penetrate the skull could, in theory, cause a concussion that takes a few seconds to take effect, and a few more to kill you. Mostly I think it was for style, mind you, but real life is very rarely cut and dry. A million and one factors play into everything.
prob going to end with walt dying.
yeah but they should end their partnership in a badass way, though it is likely that jesse will find about jane and brock and be pissed
yeah but they should end their partnership in a badass way, though it is likely that jesse will find about jane and brock and be pissed
It's not likely at all. Walt would never admit things like that.
at least one of them will probably die in the next season
the last season almost certainly going to be a bloodbath.

I still think it was stylistically a bad decision (it looked like diarrhea vomit in the general context of the show) but at least now, considering a small-yield low fragmentation explosion, him walking away doesn't seem quite as implausible

[editline]12th October 2011[/editline]
[sp] Yeah but now that Hank knows he was right about Gus maybe he will want to figure out the real cook? [/sp]
I bet they'll just think [sp] that the two guard bodies were the cooks, although i don't know if they'll be able to make out bullet holes on the bodies after the explosion. [/sp]
[sp] just one thought about the explosion wouldnt gus have blood and guts and shit splattered all over him? wasnt the bomb located behind tio - so it would have to go through tio and blast onto gus causing a massive splatter :v:[/sp]
The finale was just the best finale in a series.

i just figured that it doesn't really make sense for tio to help out walter he thinks jesse killed his people right? and he knows jesse is walt's partner
