i just figured that it doesn't really make sense for tio to help out walter he thinks jesse killed his people right? and he knows jesse is walt's partner
didnt you see the look on tios [sp]face[/sp] when [sp]walt approached[/sp] him?

Who matters more, tools of Gus who do shit because he controls them or the guy who has been torturing Tio for god knows how long?[/sp]

an idea occurred to me. is it possible that gus isd Hectors illegitimate son and thats why [sp]he wouldnt look at him ever. (until the last moments of their lives)[/sp] if not, there is still something about gus and his past that we need to find out and it left me hooked and now i dont know what to think.

Would not be possible, as Gus and Hector met through the cartel.
[sp]Now that Gus is dead I really don't need to know about his past. I wanted to know after the flashback, but nearing the end we learned the important things. He's very smart, vengeful, can make a great plan, isn't afraid to let kill and kill. Now that he's dead I feel learning about his past life would serve no purpose. Of course, some friends from Chile could come to avenge his death, but where were they when the cartel made Gus theirs bitch?[/sp]
[sp] just one thought about the explosion wouldnt gus have blood and guts and shit splattered all over him? wasnt the bomb located behind tio - so it would have to go through tio and blast onto gus causing a massive splatter :v:[/sp]
there was a severed leg on the floor behind him lol
I was surprised how only [sp]half of Gus' face was blown off and nothing else, even his suit was intact, aside from the fact that it had bits of his face on it.[/sp] Also, do we need to spoiler tag this? It's a pretty big spoiler but people have already posted it lots of times without tags.
woo hoo more people i know are starting to watch breaking bad

Gus pretty much had this planned out like everything else he does. [/sp]
I'm betting Season 5 is going to open with [sp]a flashback of Gus OR Tio (Betting on Gus). Gilligan more or less said we'll see a bit more of Gus in an interview[/sp] [sp]Considering that most major characters who've bit the dust has reappeared in later seasons on Breaking Bad (Tortuga, Gale, Combo, Etc.), I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing Gus/Tio on screen one more time in Season 5.[/sp]
I find it kind of retarded how most people were saying how bad the effect looked on Gus when it was leaked compared to how many supported it after the episode aired The whole half blown off face thing just totally killed the mood, and made it seem super cheesy for me Rate me dumb if you want, just my opinion
[sp]For all who thinks that Gus might still be alive - there was a message on a radio, saying that at least 3 people died. That's a pretty obvious hint.[/sp]

If Gus came back as Two-Face in the next season I wouldn't watch it.[/sp]
i just figured that it doesn't really make sense for tio to help out walter he thinks jesse killed his people right? and he knows jesse is walt's partner
Yeah, but the enemy of your enemy is your friend, and Gus definitely has a longer history with Tio than Walt does. I know for a fact that last guy Jesse shot who shot mike was definitely related to Hector because Gus even says it.[/sp]
I just bought seasons two and three. God I am loving this show, really nicely done.

ËXCUSE ME QUASIMODO... I KNOW YOURE A GREAT BELL RINGER AND ALL AND IMA LET YOU CONTINUE DINGIN AND A DONGIN, BUT HECTOR SALAMANCA IS THE BEST BELL RINGER OF ALL TIME!!!!
For a mother fucker who has pretty much said nothing through 3 seasons now, the old guy who plays Tio is one damn good actor.
if you really like him i suggest you watch Pi and the fountain both by darren arnofsky. they both feature him in really good supporting roles [editline]13th October 2011[/editline] oh, also i've been watching some of the first season of breaking bad and FUCK has the tone of the show changed. i mean shit it used to be a comedy/dark-comedy show practically. my favorite line though Badger: "hey, check this out" *brandishes crossbow* jesse: wtf Badger: what? we might find some havalinas

why are people even doubting gus' death? It's clear he's dead. Half of his face was blown off. They just did that scene so he could have a memorable death.
Looks like someone didn't watch episode 8 of this season.
Still, there was one reason why gus couldnt be killed. Don heladio said [sp]the only reason im not killing you is because i know you you are[/sp] so that must mean something doesnt it?
Maybe he just meant Gus is more useful to him alive than dead
I know we already know this, but here's a video explanation:
