Rodrigo y Gabriela - Tamacun
For anyone who may not remember, this is the same song that plays the first time Walt encounters Jesse in the show, when he's climbing out the window next door to the place where the DEA raids and captures Emilio.
Actually the song is different.
This is the song that plays when they are burning down the lab:

Just the instrumental version of Goodbye (aka Gus' theme) is up on Youtube along with a download link for it.

Looks more like a zombie Obama to me.
I don't think they'll be able to come up with a villain better than Gus. That makes me sad. I miss Gus already.
I'm gonna watch the first episode of the first season to see how far walt went since then.

I didn't knew he has a Nobel prize.
i really don't understand why at one point AMC wanted to cut the number of breaking bad episodes for the fifth season or something like that
I mean, it's their most celebrated show, you'd think that they want MORE episodes and try to milk the shit out of it

I think it's because Mad Men sucked up the majority of their budget

well still, if I had AMC over here and they decided to cancel or shorten breaking bad, I'd stop tuning into their channel all together, and I know I'm not the only one who'd do this.

Oh haha, that's too funny. Why didn't I think of this?

I wouldn't. They show classic movies all the time, and have 3 other incredible shows, not just Breaking Bad. But I still don't see why they would want to shorten/cancel it.
Krazy 8 was [sp]a snitch for the DEA, right?[/sp]
i heard this too but i never really got the hint.
It was either him or Emilio.
It was either him or Emilio.
It was Krazy 8, they made it pretty clear.
I wanna watch Fly again, it's actually an awesome episode
when I'm scrolling i feel like Hector Salamanca.
I wanna watch Fly again, it's actually an awesome episode
i didn't think that at the time of watching the episode, but when i read an explanation of it online, it definitely made more sense.
what online explanation?

this was the article that i read which convinced me that it wasn't such a bad episode.
Does anyone think there is symbolism between their clothing as the show continues?
Skylar use to wear blue all the time now she wears a lot of green.
Marie wears a lot of purple and is usually around it all the time.
Jesse wears a lot of red and black.
Walt use to wear a lot of green but now more of blue, switched from Skylar.
Also
Walter's former partners were Gretchen & Elliot Schwartz; schwarz is German for black; their company is called Gray Matter (white + black); and Walter 1) seems to think he's always the good guy; and 2) his first reaction tends to be absolutist and doesn't always work well with shades of gray.
Yes, I do think there's symbolism in the colours, especially the green. I just don't know what, heh. At the end of season 4, Walt and Sky are both wearing very vibrant green shirts.
Someone said on another board "It seems to me that green has two separate meanings for Walt. Before he breaks it's a symbol of his drab, placid, lifeless existence.
After he breaks, it contrasts starkly against his desolate surroundings as hope for life--it becomes his oasis in the desert."

I always thought it was a great episode.
It was a completely ringer aside from the fact that:
1. It didn't have New Mexico tags
2. No blue tape on the windshield
3. And it didn't have a spare tire on it :frown:
[editline]01:28PM[/editline]
Also, the meth I found in it was white, not blue.
Wow I know this is a really old post, but Walt's car has a special colour of green paint specifically chosen by Vince Gilligan. So no it wasn't.
