Look, it doesn't matter where you've got foreskin or not, it still functions the same, and don't say stuff such as "Oh well it looks better circumcised/not circumcised." - The penis is not meant to look good, it's meant to serve a purpose, the foreskin on the penis is something we gain through evolution as it helped act as a layer of protection against the roughness of the world. Let's say you're a caveman and you trip over, if you didn't have foreskin, it would damage your penis and that could affect you passing on your genes, however, if you had foreskin, it would keep the penis safer, which would mean that you could pass on your genes. Circumcising your children when they're born is a pointless thing to do as it makes no difference in a developed nation, we have cleaning facilities with clean water. The only reason we used to circumcise in older times was because we didn't have these inventions brought along by science. If anything it's counter productive to circumcise as accidents can happen - especially if preformed someone who isn't trained in medical surgery. There are several cases of amputations and bad cuts - these problems would be simply avoided if we didn't preform this practice on children without giving them the choice in the matter. Now, circumcision is fine if there is a genuine health/medical reason for it to occur (see Phimosis), aside from that and similar problems, there is no reason for circumcision.
Foreskin looks fucking retarded and makes our penises look like a small horse cock or something If there's no health risk, I don't mind it being removed (but not at birth probably) edit: in after desperate circumcised people argue with desperate uncircumcised people
The penis is not meant to look good, it's meant to serve a purpose,
I hope you don't feel the same way about breasts
Dont fuck with somethings that's natural.
(wisdom teeth, tonsils, appendix)
I hope you don't feel the same way about breasts
They only look good because of instinct. A fat woman doesn't look good because our instinctual subconscious tells us "She has been taken, find another mate." Whereas a girl - skinny body, nice rack and a pair of curvy hips; just right for child bearing - makes our subconscious say "She's not taken, she looks ready for reproduction, go for it."
I would leave that choice to my kids. My frenulum is really tight, and i'm worried about it tearing one day. It's so tight i can hardly get my foreskin past the base of my head. Does anyone have any advice?
Is this whilst your penis is erect or not?
It's noticeable when erect, and it hurts then too.
RustySpannerz;33693815']It's noticeable when erect, and it hurts then too.
How long have you been having this problem. (also: see a doctor)
Coolio another circumcision thread where the uncircumcised people compare the procedure to some form of disabling torture straight out of medieval times and circumcised dudes try in vain to explain why it really isn't that big a deal Let it be the kids' choice when he grows up
Does anyone have an answer second half of the question? If your partner had the opposite position would it be a deal breaker for you?
Does anyone have an answer second half of the question? If your partner had the opposite position would it be a deal breaker for you?
A penis is a penis, it doesn't actually make a difference whether it's circumcised or not, it's just unnecessary.
I'll leave it up to the kid. As for it being torture...it isn't. I don't remember mine. I don't even remember the hospital it happened it...shit, I don't remember anything at all from when I was that young. If it was torture there'd be lingering memories.
The foreskin is not vestigial. It serves a purpose.
It hasn't served a purpose for a couple thousand years. It's there to protect the tip from damage while one streaks through brush, which hasn't been necessary ever since humanity as a whole started covering their loins. On top of that modern clothing offers far more protection than a bit of skin could ever hope to supply. It's vestigial. It serves modern man no purpose as the task it evolved to accomplish is no longer required.
I don't really have an opinion. I'm circumsized and most of the people I know are also circumsized. It's just dick skin. Does having more or less dickskin make you more or less sensitive? Maybe, but as being circumsized I can say that sex and masturbation still feel good. If my baby's mama had opinion one way or the other I'd just go with what she wanted because frankly I don't care. I mean if I had to choose I'd say circumsize like his father before him and his before his, and so on and so forth to continue on a rich tradition of pointless circumsicion.
The foreskin is not vestigial. It serves a purpose.
It served a purpose when we were naked and dragged our dicks on the ground.
How long have you been having this problem. (also: see a doctor)
Will do.
I was circumsized when I was 11. I was awake through the whole procedure. It didn't take any longer than 15 minutes and the pain was bearable. It healed in two weeks. I still have a flap of foreskin behind the head, so I can still masturbate fine. Honestly, If I had a son, I'd leave the choice to him.
Dont fuck with somethings that's natural.
I read "Don't have sex with your penis." [editline]12th December 2011[/editline] Also, I myself being circumcised, don't see any reason why it shouldn't be done.

I am natural. Mostly because my father was an immigrant and my mother is a first generation. Kinda glad i wasn't though. I heard that cut people are less sensitive & have wrinkled heads, ewwwies. As for "Aesthetics". All penises are ugly, no matter what skin is or is not cut off. They're all ugly creatures, cept my own.
Doesn't really matter. the doctors just ask at an very early age because its quick and painless. I am and I don't see how a little bit of skin really matters.
You do know in some cases infants die from circumcision right? Apparently 100 infants die in the US each year because of Circumcision. How much would that suck? dying from a procedure that isn't even necessary. I would be pissed.
you don't have to lubricate your uncircumcised dick to mastrubate because the inside of the foreskin is always slightly wet, providing perfect humidity for mastrubating.
hahahah who the hell needs lube to masturbate.
I heard stories about females that are disgusted by the foreskin, a fucking natural thing Because porn ALMOST never contains foreskin so they think you have some sort of mutation if you are uncircumsised what the fuck man
Those bitches are dumb as hell for being disgusted. It's Ok for them to be disgusted about a mans foreskin, but when a man mentions that a womans vagina looks like a fucking dumbo, it's the end of the world and she smacks you with a fucking lawsuit. I'm no big fan of large pussylips, but I don't go around saying that bitches should cut them off.

One of the main reasons women don't like uncut is because it puts off that its very unclean, which it can be.
I'm cut, and I'm fine with it. I couldn't imagine not being circumcised. I'd probably have my son be too, just because. I mean I do understand everyone's point of view though.
OP I HAVE A PENIS I DONT WANT PEOPLETO CUT MY DICK, DONT TOUCH ARE DICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS WHAT MAKES US A MAN
Doesn't really matter. the doctors just ask at an very early age because its quick and painless. I am and I don't see how a little bit of skin really matters.
When I rated you dumb it said "thanks dickhead" oh the irony edit: on topic, It's not 'quick and painless'. It's pretty agonizing actually for the baby. It's impossible to remember the pain because you were too young to recall the memory of it happening. In this day and age where cleaning is a lot more prevalent, it's a useless and barbaric procedure unless needed for medical reasons (phomosis, infection, etc). I'm not trying to bash or anything, but if it's 'just because', why don't you let your son grow up and choose for himself? A majority of doctors recommend avoiding the procedure, ask them their honest opinion on it.
uncut looks & feels better, imo.
I'm circumcised, and I don't really notice any lack of sensitivity. IMO it's just cleaner.
How can you notice a lack of sensitivity if you have no pre-circumcision sensitivity to compare it to? Unless you weren't cut at birth, your statement is invalid.

The technique is described in detail on his website (www.circumcision.com.au). Dr Russell has used it in over 25,000 circumcisions on boys of all ages from neonate to puberty. Because complete anesthesia is achieved by EMLA cream for 2 hours, Dr Russell reports that no pain is experienced for 5 hours after the Plastibell is applied, meaning the circumcision is completely pain free at all stages. These were all a complete success with no serious or moderate complications, apart from one boy who developed mild methemoglobinemia (from the EMLA cream) that overnight resolved spontaneously with no medical intervention after immediate hospital admission.
source: http://www.circinfo.net/the_procedure_itself.html
