I'm a "modern teenager"
I just happen to have decent taste, unlike 85% of my generation. at least it seems that way.
I meant to say "average teenagers", sorry :/
You forgot the Power Glove... And the one-liners, pretty much.
And idk, something about his face... It's not right, Englund's face was too different from Haley's.

in one scene, his face kinda looked like a melted red na'avi from avatar, didnt it?
I rewatched the original NOES (lol), and I have to say that the acting (except for Robert Englund of course) was pretty bad.
I'm going to watch the remake, and enjoy it for what it is.
I think Ima break out the boxset and watch Wes Craven's Final Nightmare

It's been a while since I've seen that one

Is it any good? That and Nightmare 5: dream child (or whatever) are the only ones I haven't seen.
I lost my dvd collection :c
Again, it's been a long fucking time since I've seen it, but I remember enjoying it
Nightmare 6 was the funnest I think, I loved it when I was younger.

Of all the sequels I'd have to say that Dream Warriors and New Nightmare are the only good ones.
Dream Warriors is definitely my favorite of the series
Watching Dream Warriors right now.
"I said, WHERE'S THE FUCKING BOURBON?"

"Why should we fight? We're old friends, remember? Let's get high..."
My favorite is predictable, it's the first one, but my cousin (mrryanchisholm)'s favorite is NOES 3.
He also liked 4 for some reason.
Me and him both HATED number 2 though, worst sequel EVER.

well, maybe.
The outside of the school and the pool scene was filmed at my high school right down the street from my house.
I don't understand why they picked our shitty school.
Yea the my school's classroom and hallway was used in I, probably the only reason i would consider going to watch it would to see people I know
I've only seen the first one, should be seeing the remake tomorrow. Should be interesting.
it was a masterpiece. Get out.
No, it really wasn't. It was entertaining and enjoyable, and the acting on the part of Englund is amazing, but they aren't masterpeices at all. None of the old slashers are, BUT, michael bay does need to stay the fuck away from remakes forever.
My religion on Facebook is "Blame Michael Bay-ist". Or was, might be different now.
This is the reason I'm going through film school, so that I can have a part in making good movies, or good remakes.

other than the opinion, I agree with everything. To think he's remaking Hitchcock makes my skin crawl.
Speaking of Bays involvement, how many explosions are there?

There are at least a couple. I'm surprised when they crash their Jeep Cherokee into a ditch, he didn't use that as an excuse for another explosion. Then again, that would kill the main characters, and the "plot" wouldn't be able to continue.
Speaking of Bays involvement, how many explosions are there?
Only two in this one. He's cutting back.
Good to know.
I hope it's not too gory, don't want to scare my girlfriend off on our first date. :ohdear:
EDIT: That was fun, dunno why Freddy had to be a Paedophile though, and why didn't Glen explode? I was looking forward to that :argh:
I liked the movie, it was very enjoyable. Predictable as shit, yeah, enjoyable, yeah.
