My school will never close. Many times every school in the Chicago area closed, however my high school never did. It's great not having to make up a lost day or two in the Summer due to snow days. Also buses are like tanks, they can't be stopped. My area even has several snow plows out on duty every time there is snow.
Snow has not fallen in my city since 1955.

I've only seen snow for about only 2 times in my whole life, and it was when I was 2 or 3 :frown:. You guys are lucky

School was called off for today, during the end of the school day yesterday. And earlier today, school was called off for tomorrow. Since I have Wednesday off, Thursday off, Friday off(teacher inservice), Weekend, and Monday off(holiday), I'm digging my 6 day weekend :smug: .

Haven't had school all week and we missed three days last week too. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a snow day too, unlikely as it seems. The good thing about living where I do is on the rare occasion we get a shitload of snow, there's mass panic since nobody knows how to deal with it. This meaning very little school.
Actually, scratch that, we don't deal with it. My county only has enough money to plow some of the main roads. Most back roads like the one I live on are ignored.
I'm on an Air Force base and a snow-day like day might happen. Somethings close and I might not have class tonight. I'm from Minnesota but I'm in Texas.. so I'm happy as fuck.
