recorded that a few weeks
I always find huntsman spiders in my house, they look scary as fuck but are pretty much harmless. They eat cockroaches so I don't having them around.
Spiders are truly, fucking horrible.
There was a spider in my sink this morning, I turned on the tap by accident and he fell down the hole I feel sad now :smith:
As long as they don't surprise-attack me, spiders don't bother me too much (exception made for the really poisonous ones). Though those tunnelling black spiders that pop-up whenever prey go by are an exception, I hate those.
OK spiders:

Do not want spiders:

Long legs and small torso, I hate them.

There was a huge spider in my sink this morning, we let him outside :3:
Good riddance, that thing scared the shit out of me when I went to the sink :argh:
I used to have a few female Chilean Rose Haired Tarantulas at one point. :3: I thought they were cute. Named one of them 'Rosy'. :/ Or was it both of them?
But yeah, they are amazing creatures. The tarantulas never bit me, they only showed signs of grouchiness if you clean out their cage and have to lift up their hiding place. I used to hold them everyday, its a unique experience. And they were so calm, unlike the common spiders you get around the house and garden.
They maulted three times, I still have the old exoskeletons in a plastic tub somewhere.
I sold both tarantulas eventually when we didn't have the room for them. :( I really miss them.

Friend of mine just found this is in his bathroom. I'm trying to work out what it is since it looks just like a black widow, but I'm pretty sure we're not meant to have those here in England, and I don't know of any false widows that have the red marking. Anyone got any idea what it might be?
looks too big to be a widow
Apparently it was quite big, several times bigger than a widow.

Looks like a black widow to me.
Even tough I'm arachnophobic, I find spiders cunning. I try not to freak out on them nor kill them. But it's still pretty nasty to run into a spiderweb in a forest and find one sitting on your nose. and I want to get a tarantula
Is it wrong for me to desire spider porn now.
Man i should seek mental help.
I like spiders, when one comes down on my monitor, I'll just let him chill there. :3
When you hold them are they cold?
Not really. They are usually at room temperature, and they aren't very heavy so you don't really notice the temperature.
Kind-of like snakes, I presume

Looks like one, it has the same red hourglass markings...bear in mind that the females are the deadly ones.
If it is one, I reckon its a female. :) Nice find.
Hmm, not sure now. I just looked up Black Widows on Google images, most of them are rounder and have more reflective bodies. But I still think it is one.
Of all of these wide eyed Jumping Spider pictures are cute. :buddy:

That's how I feel about spiders
Here is the type I used to have: Chilean Rose. Bear in mind this isn't one of my old ones.

The type I would love to have: Cobalt Blue Tarantula.
What an amazing shade of blue. :v:
