• How I got a Youtube partnership

I got partnership deal, although the video they offered it on wasn't mine, so legally I couldn't.
I have like 3 million views total on all my videos and I never got asked :(

machinima.com has ads they use videogames I guess that means w/o the audio, it's legit

Ah, this might be it. Kinda obvious come to think of it.
Hey I got that message for this video as well. I haven't tried it yet.
same thing happened to myself I really don't like this one of my videos, but it's the only one that I generate income from.
I did it for a video I made when Halo 3 came out, and I put that in the title. Haven't made a dime since ._.
(I'm going to anyway, it doesn't matter what you say, rofl)
You jerk.
How much income is it possible to generate from this? What do they pay you for one view? Nevermind, google is my freind. For anbody interested, it's generally between 2 cents and 1 dollar. Which means I could have made $14,780 by now if I had signed up 2 years ago. :sigh: Edit: nevermind.. I was calculating per view :downs: Gave myself bad reading. Still, I feel like it's been a wasted opportunity.
Why Ello me fellow facepuncher. I subbed to you me heartie! -SpartanGameTrailers
Grr my most viewed vid is only like 1k views ;(
My most popular vid is Drawn Apart, with 87,366 views
I got one of those for some mildly popular video I had. I declined partly because it was just a clip from a movie, and I probably would have been sued. But the main reason I declined was because I didn't want to be a sell-out. [editline]11:15PM[/editline] My video had 64k views. 10 seconds long with a 4.5 star rating. 128 comments, and 1 response.
Go for it, The thing is they're the ones offering you something so you don't really lose anything to begin with. As long as your 18+ and you have a google Adsense account, you'll be able to rack money via each view, but it's not alot of cash to begin with. I have a few of these on my channel and I accepted but I didn't get alot of cash. Just make sure the video they are offering you cash for has nothing copyrighted in there. Or any visuals or audio of a game and song/music video or they will decline it
subscribers must be a factor as well
If they offer you, then it's fine. When it's you signing up for the Partnership for all your videos, then that becomes a factor.
Do it. Get money for nothing.
And your chicks for free
I got Partnership and I made the adsense and all that then they were like "fuck you" and ended the partnership
I uploaded a video of Rammstein's single "Pussy" weeks before it came out on CD and got 300,000 views in about 2 days until it got closed due to copyright bullshit
I got Partnership and I made the adsense and all that then they were like "fuck you" and ended the partnership
You have to get a certain maintained views, clicks, ratings, and time intervals between uploads.
They've asked me twice for 2 separate videos and I'm not going to bother because: Video 1- I used 2 of Capcom's games (Resident Evil 2 and Street Fighter) Video 2- Has audio from Shaun of the Dead and I used Resident Evil 2 to make it. So yeah.. this "partnership" wouldn't last very long for me.
In the video descriptions, do the dodgy "I do not own (sources)" thing. Go for it man, you can make some good bank.
Doesn't work that way, They will just deny it. During the sign up for the Partnership they ask for the following "Does it contain any visuals of a video of game" and shit like that If you answer Yes to any of the questions You have to explain why Just do what I do "I Have contacted (Insert Company Name Here) for displaying this video on youtube, I have full creative control and usage of the footage."
I got two, but they're extremely picky.
In the video descriptions, do the dodgy "I do not own (sources)" thing. I haven't made a video in 2 years and I don't plan on it anytime soon.
Not only should you click it, you should start making some videos that you actually put work into. If they get popular, you have the advantage of already having the partnership.

For explanation," The games are the media i'm using." Isn't too tough.
Surely you cannot believe Youtube is going to give anonymous users cash for a video. This'll end in tears I am sure. My 'Personified Fear' video was available for revenue collection but I thought why bother? Sony will either cap my ass or people will start asking me for it.
