Does anyone else feel the transition from "Multiple amateurs fucking around" to "A single 'professional' Gmodder" wasn't worth it? (I know there's multiple people involved in this, but it could have easily been done by one)
It was one of the reasons I loved "Crimson rose thorn", The parody machinima by Dasboschitt, because it was just a bunch of Gmodders fucking about and making a silly little video

Honestly I think it's just the golden age of these kinds of videos got grown out of pretty quick. I mean obviously there's gonna be people who still like it, but the appeal is flat out dead for most. I do think it's cool that this was made as a "memory lane" type thing.

It's not unusual for my parents to wipe his ass for him. And he's not getting any better. He's an eternal dependent who needs constant supervision.

Not to say that the pony part wasn't remotely hilarious at all, I actually kinda chuckled when I saw Magnusson running with a chainsaw, but I probably would have found it a lot more hilarious if I wasn't aware of how these kind of pony slaughtering jokes or whatever were constantly done with the motives usually having something to do with actual exaggerated hate and not just trying to be funny.
Overall, it's a pretty neat remake of the original video. I was actually kinda entertained by the Tunnel Snakes part, for whatever reason.

I enjoyed it and it's true that I have grown out of that type of humor so it did not give me the same joy it did when I first saw Idiots of Garry's mod 1 but at least it's giving a new younger generation a chance to see it.
