I have five tattoos currently. And planning my next one already
I am going to get a half-sleeve of a peacock, to remind myself that I am beautiful and as a confidence booster too
Getting my Peacock half-sleeve on Wednesday! I can't wait. I think this is the first tattoo I have been REALLY excited about getting
Cancelled and re-sheduled for this Wednesday as he was working away from home for a while.

Where are you getting it done? I was wondering if we should compile a list of artists we went to in the first post or something. I know the list wouldn't be too long, but it might be informative.
If you made it I'd add it.
My brother and mother went to a Dutch tattoo artist caleld 'tattoo bob'
For goodness sake... This is starting to get ridiculous now. My tattoo has been postponed AGAIN!

Nah, mine won't be any use. No one else who has even heard of FP lives around where I live, aside from my boyfriend, :v:

I am willing to compile a list if people would send in their artist and a bit about their experiences, pricing etc... I mean we only have a handful of regulars around here anyway so it shouldn't take too long.
Yeah sure if you want to do that.
This is my first tattoo. It's The Glitch Mob symbol. Their music has really inspired me throughout my life.

I plan on getting the Shakespeare quote as my next tattoo
"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages."
Not sure if im getting the entire quote or just the first two stanzas, but its a work in progress.

Awesome first piece, dude! Who was your artist?
And in case my Hamlet tattoo I posted earlier on this page isn't any indication, I think Shakespeare tattoos are fuggin' awesome. Do you have any font ideas? Where you want to place it, etc?
Also, unimportant but kinda cool side story, today one of my coworkers who has been quietly intrigued about tattoos for a while saw my Hamlet piece as well as my back piece, which peeked from that neck of my shirt. She then proceeded to geek out about how much she loves tattoos and wants to get ink soon. Spent half my shift talking artists and tattoos in general; 'twas a good feeling to spread tattoo excitement.

Thanks! Ahh it was Michael Ruthem from Diamond Body Art hes a wonderful artist. Ahh sadly I do not have font ideas yet but im pretty sure it want it on my right side on my ribs.
Funny If a coworker ever brings up tattoos im always the first one to chime with mine and we always have hour long conversations about them and what we are going to get etc.
I geek out on tattoos.
I really want to get a labret done but my boss can't stand the way I dress to begin with so I've been waiting until I could get another job. It's really shitty because my place of employment has literally no dress-code outside of long pants and close-toed shoes, and I wear shoes and regular pants all year round to begin with.
I've been wanting to get my first tattoo this summer, and I know it's a little generic, but I've been thinking the Empire symbol. I've loved Star Wars since I was a kid, so I think it'd be nice.

What do you guys think?

Though I'm not sure which color inversion I'd prefer.

I prefer the second one, for some reason I am not a huge fan of negative space tattoos. But obviously it all depends on you!

Why is it so hard to find titanium spirals where you can enter gauge, length, number of twists etc...? I recently bough a single loop spiral and it is just a tiny tiny bit too short, which pissed me off, if it was only 2-3mm longer it would've fit perfectly.
Got another session for my lovecraft sleeve on August, getting this at the bottom part of it

but with a more realistic version of lovecraft, like so.

Having a sort of, monsters wrapping around him and getting bigger fucked up creatures from lovecraft mythos going up until it gets to cthulhu and r'lyeh.

That is the only reason why I don't get a leg tattoo too, I just don't know how it will look after my hair grows back!
Hey guys sorry for the bump

anyone know what this b&w style is called?
Really interested in getting a buddha done in that style on my arm
Just got $400 of a $600 dollar piece done today.
Just need to finish shading. I'll have pictures up as soon as I get them from my buddy.
It's a squid coming out of the water. The squid is black/grey and the water will be blue.

Like I said, just the second part of the squid and the water need done.
I was thinking of getting something like this on my chest:

Woah, looks really, really great! Wish that I would gain some progress, but I lack ideas and money at the moment...
Only progress I have at the moment that I have my right ear to 1'', my final goal. But since I just reached it recently, it itches like hell, the fact that it's my fucked up ear doesn't help, but I'll get this done nicely.

Continued with Manny Calavera on my leg.
Such a shame new posts dont bump the thread up anymore.
I would really like if GD started bumping threads again so this could get more posts.
Yeah im looking into my first tattoo, im sure i want it on my left arm, just not sure if i want it on my forearm or shoulder. I was thinking of something along the lines of this. except with the center point facing up.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
