I was disappointed to see that this wasn't a thread about superior intelligence and its implications and applications. I was expecting some kind of pondering about artificial or differently evolved intelligence.

I'd say it goes beyond that because there is an elevation of one's personal (in this case, intellectual) status.
I view a socially retarded person as someone who does not understand how society works in the first place, much like a person who cannot comprehend facial expressions. I in no way mean to argue, I simply wish I had a single word to use in a case like this. Narcissism with a dash of societal cynic on the side?

By the way, this is the Stanford-Binet, widely considered to be the most accurate and reliable child IQ test (which is when they're supposedly the most accurate because they rely the least on prior knowledge). IQ is meaningless, and you're a tool if you think otherwise.
