You're a rich, lucky fucker, I never got anything close to this for any birthday or christmas in my life, and I'm 23 now.
I have come to the conclusion that OP is dumb.
you're an idiot
no, I'm mature enough to know that a 16 year old on the road with a moped with vary basic road training is just asking for trouble
mr 15 year old
That has a kickstart right?
They removed it in the 2004 bikes I think, so you have to bumpstart if you have dead battery, which is annoying.
Yeah, all kickstart.
Battery hasn't died on me yet, so it's all good so far. :downs:
It's a nice bike, although I have to sell it soon, as I'm paying my new car off at the moment. :saddowns:
Although I hope to get another later on, in a few years. :downs:
I have come to the conclusion that OP is dumb.
Oh really, well if I was dumb then how come I have been accepted into the OPITO college course in Aberdeen?
I would like to see you try and even get into a college course for street cleaning.

Because your parents can afford it.
Because your parents can afford it.
It is free you fool, I get paid to take it...
if you've had no road experience you definitely should not even consider a bike as a first vehicle
I wish you the best of luck with your test, just don't be one of those assholes that drives between the lanes on the highway when there's traffic.
I'm 16 and have an S1000RR... yay for US laws.
Heh, my dad did the same thing except with a mountain bike.
I wish you the best of luck with your test, just don't be one of those assholes that drives between the lanes on the highway when there's traffic.
Why do you say that? Does it make you angry when a bike passes you by while you sit stuck in a traffic jam? Jealous that the guy on the bike isn't you? Hmm?
if you've had no road experience you definitely should not even consider a bike as a first vehicle
Bike as a first vehicle is better.. it gives you more road experience in my opinion.

I've heard people say it's harder to learn to drive a car after riding a bike.
I find it easy to drive a car after being on a bike for a year and a half..
Gave me more road sense and I can judge things better. :downs:
Wait you guys have 50cc bikes that are road legal?
The best thing you can do when you have your bike is ride with other more experienced riders, following them through corners etc and getting a feel for the bike.
I ride a Kawasaki ZZR 250, can't get anything more powered legally just yet because I'm still on my first year too but it's still a pretty good bike. Though I'll admit I may have pranged it last weekend so I'm not riding anything at the moment until I replace the fairing. :S
Yeah 50cc scooters most of the time, for 16 year olds.
My 125 was my second bike after a 100.
I can't get anything more until I do my full test now.. :saddowns:

That reminds me, when you're on a bike treat every driver like he/she can't see you.
Oh and wave to kids waving at you, they'll point you out when their mum tries to merge into you.
Yeah that's exactly what I got told when I was learning.
Yeah that's exactly what I got told when I was learning.
My entire family rides so I pretty much get handed all this advice 24/7 and I end up with a habit of repeating it all whenever someone mentions bikes.
Get a Honda or a Kawasaki.

Yeah, some of my family does too, it's what got me interested.
Yeah, some of my family does too, it's what got me interested.
I was interested because I thought it would be cool, and it was. Hell yes. trying to convince my mates to go for the test now though.

Yeah it is.
And I got a couple of friends interested only one actually ended up doing the CBT which is cool.
Wow 50cc racing bikes :downs:
I have a honda moped 50cc that goes 72km/h I don't need anymore
and a MZ 250cc that went 130km/h but I got a bigger gear for the wheel and now it goes 90km/h ( I use it for cross).
It's hard to fail a CBT, Do it on a 50cc bike instead of a 125 because then you won't have to bother with gears. When you get your bike play around with it and get used to using gears.
In Italy you can get 50cc with 14, and with 16 you get 125cc

You then have to do another test with a geared though I believe?
If you take the cbt without gears, you can only ride without gears.. correct me if i'm wrong.
