Has anyone been drawn into the "coupledom" web and become a total loser by doing so? My girlfriend and I had been mockingly saying sweetie and honey and a lot of worse pet names to each other for a couple of weeks just to make fun of other friends who do that seriously but we've been doing it so casually and unwittingly that I think it might stick. I hate coupley couples, so I'm terrified I might accidentally become part of one :ohdear: Oh and on prom or school formal, is it weird for a uni first year to go to a year 12 (high school senior I guess) formal? It's not against their rules, but it seems kind of weird going back into school life after I graduated there last year.

That's not weird. Anyway coupley couples can be really fucking annoying sometimes. I know these people that sit around with their (formerly my) group of friends making out constantly and barely talking to anyone else.
I feel more aggressive about women. That's the best I can describe it. I don't feel more horny, I already went through several super horny stages, and it's not the same. Like, I never used to stare at women, I just didn't. But now I do. A lot. And I'm feel generally more inclined to take risks with women. Also, I can't get over my ex. We broke up a year ago. I don't want to date her, like my brain says no, but I still feel attracted to her. I thought I was over her until yesterday when my friend had a get together and she was there. Maybe it's just my dick talking, she is pretty hot.

The competition basically ended when my best friend told me that she had seem them make out before the sitting down action was completed. So yeah, if you can't ignore them, time them! Or something like that. Actually, don't stand over them with a stopwatch, that would just be rather pervy.
Is it bad I tell myself "No?"

Just like how if you went up and hugged a couple making out and said "I wanna get in on this action!" they'd definitely stop out of embarrassment.
I think that would be pretty funny. I like embarrassing annoying couples. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] They always get so offended like you're intruding on their private lives, but they're making out in the middle of a crowded place...

I've actually thought this through a sad amount.

It doesn't make anything awkward if you know the person really well. To be fair, we've been close bro's for 6 years, and i met the girl 3 years ago. so doesn't work in my case.

I mean, they'd hug me and at the same time they'd keep making out at the same time - not with me, obviously. That would be quite odd.
I don't like to make out and whatnot in public. I'm perfectly fine with holding hands and little kisses, but full on making out in public is outright unclassy as hell. You might enjoy it, but it's not really a pretty thing to see two people sucking on each other's faces. Nobody wants to see that shit, keep it in the bedroom or when you're alone.
Classy is always better. I look down on couples who do shit like that. I think this Andrew Ryan avatar may be influencing my posts.

It's like scratching your ass in public. And I mean really going at it.
I hate that shit. The two ugliest people in my school are always making out in the hallway by my locker. It's fucking disgusting.
Confirm. I thought that was actually a written rule? It sure as hell was at my school. Sophomores couldn't go to prom alone and couldn't come with someone unless they were of opposite sex, so friends couldn't drag freshman/sophomore friends in.
Quick question on the US school/college system, what's the deal with Freshman, Sophomore, etc? Are they names that apply both in high school and college? Always been confused about that. And what are upperclassmen and juniors and seniors?
High school consists of 4 years. 1st: Freshman 2nd: Sophomore 3rd: Junior 4th: Senior College tends to consist of 4 years. The order is exactly the same. If I'm in my second year of high school, I'm a sophomore. If I'm in my second year of college, I'm a sophomore. However, college is more so determined by how many hours of classes you have completed. Theoretically, you could be a sophomore in college despite being in for more/less than 2 years. Same with all the other levels. Anyone that is above you is an upperlcassman. If you're a freshman, sophomores are upperclassmen. If you're talking about HS in general, typically Juniors and Seniors are considered upperclassmen.

There was this cosplay couple when I was in high school who got engaged in year 12, but they were the most intensely public people; they even had big shouting arguments in the corridors during class. In (most of) Australia we have prep - grade six which is primary school, then year seven - year 12 which is high school. In uni there's typically first, second and third year which can be extended if you want to add more to your degree, as well as honours, masters etc.
So I know this girl that has a boyfriend she never sees and likes to attract otherwise intelligent and nice guys to create a sort of harem of horny males around her. It's horrific to watch. It's like she's Colonel Kurtz and you have to watch your friends become Captain Richard Colbys. She is unattractive (apart from her generous boobs with which she hypnotizes poor unassuming nerd boys) and her personality is FANTASTICALLY annoying. Not really asking for advice, but it pains me to have to see.
No?
Yeah.
I know this girl I'm interested in seeing, but I can't pull myself together to ask her :smith: Honesty tiem, I'm 15 and have never been in a relationship with a girl.
I hate that shit. The two ugliest people in my school are always making out in the hallway by my locker. It's fucking disgusting.
Really? Our teachers yell if 2 friends hug.
my teachers don't give a fuck. one of our teachers taught us cuss words in latin and doesn't mind dropping the word fuck, nor does she mind the occasional dirty joke.

Just ask someone out. Ask many people out. Unless you are REALLY disgusting (I doubt you are), at least someone is going to say yes.

But he said he's never been in a relationship at all.
