I really can't imagine the rest of them being all that different really. That girl I was friends with was a nice person, I'll give her that much.
You're a misogynist. Plain and simple.
Preppy is pretty much just a way of dressing and acting in front of others of the same unit. I'm certain that if you invested any time in not being an antisocial nerd who sits there judging all the uninteresting girls who you have no interest in (which is why you're judging them, right?), you could actually get to know some really nice and genuinely interesting people.
this is very, very true. Some of the preppy girls can really surprise you. ive been aw-struck by a few of them. I felt really bad that i made first judgement afterwards.
Yes because I'm totally going to talk to random preppy girl #1375894 and discover that she likes the same obscure Norwegian black metal bands as me.
or you could just get over yourself and talk to girls regardless? maybe then you'll stop complaining that you don't like any girls :downs:
You never know until you try. You'd be surprised just how much those "stereotypical teenage girls" vary. They act the same around each other, but most girls have a side they don't show to their immediate group of friends. I've met a fair share of "preppy" girls who talk about liking Justin Beiber and whatnot on facebook but actually like metal. I'm convinced you're just saying that shit out of insecurity. You need something to blame for your lack of ability to talk to girls other than your severe lack of balls. "Oh, I know! I'll just say they're all stereotypical and none of them interest me, people will believe that, right?"
Awestruck :eng101:
dude, i fucking love you. That is all.
I've met a fair share of "preppy" girls who talk about liking Justin Beiber and whatnot on facebook but actually like metal.
Shitty mainstream metal maybe, which is almost as bad.
Yes because I'm totally going to talk to random preppy girl #1375894 and discover that she likes the same obscure Norwegian black metal bands as me.
who give a fuck if your music tastes are different. you got some unrealistic standards. "must like shitty music hur"
Shitty mainstream metal maybe, which is almost as bad.
Way to miss the fucking point :downsbravo:
Yes because I'm totally going to talk to random preppy girl #1375894 and discover that she likes the same obscure Norwegian black metal bands as me.
Who gives a fuck if she likes the same music as you? oh hi scoutking nice to see you ninja me.
Who gives a fuck if she likes the same music as you? oh hi scoutking nice to see you ninja me.
ahaha gotcha bitch
Who gives a fuck if she likes the same music as you?
I don't think someone who listens to mainstream music is going to have much respect for my music. That's why I give a fuck.
Who fucking cares? It's just music, people have different tastes. Deal with it.
I don't think someone who listens to mainstream music is going to have much respect for my music. That's why I give a fuck.
Holy shit you are missing the point so badly, and also this doesn't matter at all. It's so incredibly insignificant I can't even comprehend how you manage to let this convince you not to talk to girls.
I don't think someone who listens to mainstream music is going to have much respect for my music. That's why I give a fuck.
Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass first. Do you know how pretentious you sound? You're ruling out talking to someone over something that's trivial.
I don't think someone who listens to mainstream music is going to have much respect for my music. That's why I give a fuck.
Quit thinking for your pretentious self and listen to the people who are telling you that your way of thinking is flawed. Be glad most of the thread hasn't stopped responding to your nonsense and learn from what they're typing.
Taepodong needs to leave this thread.
Taepodong needs to leave this thread.
One step ahead of you.
I don't think someone who listens to mainstream music is going to have much respect for my music. That's why I give a fuck.
Really? I like Mac Miller. He's a huge rap artist. I also like varying other artists like The Glitch Mob and some doom metal, like Swallow the Sun. I'm not prejudiced like you seem to be against types of people. If a girl is going to judge you based on your tastes in music is she really worth it? You aren't gonna score a babe with a nice personality if you worry about every little fucking thing. [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline]
One step ahead of you.
FYI, if you quote his post that sort of means you're one step behind him. Way to go.

I could, but then she would text me endlessly... which she already kind of does. Obnoxious, but "no" does not stop her.
Has it really been that long since LA was around?
I don't think someone who listens to mainstream music is going to have much respect for my music. That's why I give a fuck.
I've never had a girlfriend who has shared a love for local folk bands but you know what? That shit doesn't make a relationship. You're making so many excuses not to like the girls you meet, trying to make them sound like they're so below you with your awesome death metal tastes, I'm guessing it's entirely down to your own insecurity.
Also, I listen to rap and my girl listens to fucking Christian rock and country. Guess what, neither of us give a shit. [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline] Oh and her parents hate me idk why
The girl I'm dating listens to Nora Jones and stuff like that, which I don't mind but don't really enjoy listening to. Doesn't matter to me, we just don't talk about music. Simple solution to a simple problem.
Funny thing is I know all this shit about dating but I can rarely muster the balls to talk to a girl :v: Guess that's LA for ya. At least I can point out and accept my own flaws instead of making up excuses, and that's half the battle
Shitty mainstream metal maybe, which is almost as bad.
no i met some preppy girls in my class a long time ago who made presentations about judas priest and metallica with their tour shirts on [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline]
Who fucking cares?
I asked a girl (Farrah - some may think of this as an odd name, i'm still trying to figure out how the fuck her parents though of it, it sounds middle eastern or something, but they're not middle eastern.) out to prom a few weeks ago. She said yes, I was prety excited, my parents offered to pay for a new suit for me and prom tickets (because i'm dirt broke right now) as soon as they found out a few days later. About after a week of asking this girl to prom, she messaged me on facebook saying it "be too awkward because we're such good friends." I said that we could go as friends, if it's the friend part that's bothering her, she still said no. What the fuck? Not only is it the same exact (I mean, the wording is almost exactly the same) reason that one of her friends (Rachel) gave me when I asked her (Rachel) out a few years ago, but, in my opinion, is a rather stupid reason. (If you really think about it, what would be so fucking awkward about it? It's not like i'm asking her to fucking marry me and shit.) So, I think Farrah was talked out of it or some shit because if she didn't want to say yes in the first place, then she could've just said no, but I guess I understand it if she didn't want to say no to prevent hurting my feelings or some bullshit thing when I first asked her. Maybe I should have just told her that I would've been fine if she said no in the first place, I could've asked another girl in the time I lost with her. (Not to sound like an asshole, but I had asked another girl if she wanted to go just as friends but she had said that I was beaten to her by another guy by a few days, but that doesn't bother me.) Plus, I heard from one of my close friends that she had been telling people she said "Maybe, I'll think about it" instead of "Okay" like I had told a few people. If she thinks I misheard her, it's kind of hard to mistaken "Okay" with "Maybe, i'll think about it" if you ask me. So, what should I have done in this occasion? Did I do the right thing? Either way, I don't have a date for prom, which doesn't bother me too much, i'll have fun anyway.
Reposted here, from the other thread. One thing I forgot to mention in the original quote was that farrah saying no was a little odd, (this little bit leads me to believe that she was talked out of going with me) partially because a group of some other people were with me in study hall one day and we were talking about prom, and somebody asked me who i'm taking, and I said nobody, so I asked who they think I should take, seeing as I gad no idea who to take (keep in mind I was a little interested in Farrah before this, but told nobody), and a good friend of Farrah's suggested I take Farrah ( which I thought was a good idea, i mean, logically, she wouldnt say that if she knew farrah would say no, plus it didnt sound like she suggested it for no reason, either, I think you guys know what I mean.)
You did not include names. No one cares until you do.
