They're waiting to go out in the summer i think.
Really puss move, and a statement of how much "in love" they must be.
I'm holding off asking anyone out till summer cause i want to focus on exams, but it looks as if they are looking for excuses to not go out.

we don't have final exams for another 4 weeks.
They've been doing this since late march. They're scared of having a open relationship in the school hallways.
aka they're puss's

Now I'm just talking to a few girls I'm interested in, and am planning on asking one out soon. I haven't talked a lot with the one I'm most interested in, a british girl in my english class. Would you say I should just say screw it and ask her out now, or talk a little more so it's not just a semi-stranger asking her out?
Just ask her out. The whole point of going on dates is to get to know someone.

we need to get you a title that says "ask her out, stupid"
with a link to that post. +the other 100's of posts where you've said this.

because I actually care about her and not what she looks like? she told me before she started going out with me she wasn't sure if she was ready, so this wasn't really a surprise.
Facepunch, what the hell is wrong with me. I only seem to attract young chicks. Im 16, and ill be 17 in a month. A few days ago, i was at a party at a friends house, and a sister of a friend of mine just started to show interest. I was abit drunk (and since its been 4 years since I had a girlfriend, abit desperate too.) so I started to flirt with her. We ended up in my friends bed (with other people in the room) with her cuddling with me. We just didnt kiss because well, it would be abit more than cuddling if we did.
Anyways, today I went to a physics olympic with a few people from my school (no, im not a complete nerd, im average at physics, but I like it, im thinking of doing some engineering and i wanted to see a real lab, since we would get to visit one in the college we were doing the olympics exams.)
Anyways, there was a part with some kind of treasure hunt, where we had to find clues and stuff. I got with some group of people I didnt know, and since there were nerds everywhere, i wasnt hard for me to assume command. I started to lead my group of nerds in the treasure hunt, with good sucess. However, there was this youngish girl, 2 years younger than me, who just took every chance to do any physical contact with me (hehe, physics). Anyways, the treasure hunt ended up being canceled because of something that went wrong. In the end, the chick asked me my phone number and i gave it to her.
Anyways, im going to talk to her, but I dont know what to do. She's younger, shes cute but not incredibly good looking. Im wondering if I should ask her out to do something. Im abit afraid, due to the fact that shes younger, i dont know what would happen. I could just have a bit of fun, should I or not?
LA, can you help me on this one?
If you want to do it just go for it, but I'd probably be annoyed by a 14 year old.
You probably just look young.
Also Justin Bieber is 16 or something and he attracts fucking 8 year olds.
It's up to you whether you want to be into that sort of stuff or not. Personally I think it's gross.
I miss the judge others' attractiveness thread
As you get older, that age difference will be less and less important. For the moment, that's up to you if you want to be with someone 2-3 years younger than you or not.
14 and 16 is kind of regarded a big gap where I am. When someone my age (16) started dating someone in the year's younger sister (14), they had to break up after two months. He was getting heckled every minute of his school life, constant shouts of Pedo and stuff. A 4chan kid even stuck a Pedo bear on his locker.
My ex girlfriend was a year and a bit younger than me, and I'm 16... We didn't have any issues with that.
I did, but she said that she doesn't want a relationship, not just with me but with anyone since she just broke up with her bf. But I still don't see where I went wrong especially after she said that she would think of me whenever she thought of her boyfriend...but now I'm just her 'closest guy friend'. Guess she just moved on.
Unfortunately, she wasn't being entirely honest... she was letting you down easy. You seem to be taking it gracefully, which is good. You're doing better than most if that is the case.
Just ask someone out, it works :buddy:
So... My friend (who also just broke up with his serious girlfriend) was going to set me up with a friend of his, who seemed awesome. He went on a while about how he'll hold off on dating for a while... And then texted me to say that he's going on a date with the same person he was going to set me up with. Great.

dick move but a general rule unless it's a double date
friends /=/ girlfriend
don't mix very well
Meh, reading over some of the other pages in the thread gave me more balls to go approach a bunch of girls at school on monday... I'm planning on using "So I was trying to think of an excuse to come talk to you but couldn't, so I've decided to just come over and wing it. What's up girl?" because it's golden.
My girlfriend only just turned 17, I've been 18 for six months. I think the only real problem with age gaps is that I can't take her out to pubs because for one thing she's not legally allowed to and also because she has school which starts at 9 in the morning while uni starts at 12 daily for me.

Why would you even plan something that small, let alone using that quote?

Good line, I've used it plenty of times, but planning it is outright retarded.
Just because you're planning it, you're going to stutter or mess up the line and it won't be effective.
Eh, it was just a line I liked from earlier in the thread... I won't use exactly it, just something like it, whatever comes to my mind.
Pushover, stick to your gut! Don't let us tell you what to do!
I'm just messing with you, that plan was horrible.
above poster is a cutie pie
thanks you too hun
i fucking hate facebook.
a female friend just did one of these "your top fan" things and it said i had about 60 more comments than anyone else on her friends list, making me look like a massive stalker, even though i know other people have more.

Pretty sure most people know those sorts of things are useless for tracking down "stalkers", don't worry about it.

be less creepy
[editline]8th May 2011[/editline]
If you're not a facebook creeper and she knows you're not a facebook creeper it shouldn't matter
Well that's probably because you stalked her
If she thought you were creepy for posting that many times on her statuses, she wouldn't need statistics to back up her assumptions of you. She either already thought of you as a stalker or she doesn't now.
