Sitting here and bitching to us does not help. Just fucking do it. Go out and get some friends and ask the girl out. If you fail, you have more then one class.
I just asked for advice, not just bitching. I thought that just going to someone and asking her out, while you dont even know her name, or absolutely nothing about her, makes you very creepy. And yes, i have more than 1 class, but all the classes are with the same people.

Asking a girl out is only creepy if you make it sound creepy. The point of asking her out is to get to know her.
This.
I want examples of how one would make it creepy. Reading them always makes me laugh.
I want examples of how one would make it creepy. Reading them always makes me laugh.
I like your tits, wanna go get some lunch tomorrow?
I want examples of how one would make it creepy. Reading them always makes me laugh.
"hey uh...would you...uh...go...would you like to uh go on a date with me sometime?" (notice that the one saying this is kinda twitching at the time)
"hey uh...would you...uh...go...would you like to uh go on a date with me sometime?" (notice that the one saying this is kinda twitching at the time)
Just sounds awkward, not creepy.
I like your tits, wanna go get some lunch tomorrow?
I feel like this could actually work if you said it straight. They'd just think it was funny... [editline]18th March 2011[/editline] Depending on the lady of course.
If that ever works, you got your self a story to tell. And a date with a slut.
Well I know someone that I could definitely get away with saying it to, but we're quasi-friends, so that may not count.
I like your tits, wanna go get some lunch tomorrow?
Isnt it actually same thing, when you haven't even heard the girl talk? :buddy:
Well I know someone that I could definitely get away with saying it to, but we're quasi-friends, so that may not count.
If you are friends, then yeah, I could see it working because they know you. If you just go up to a stranger, they may see it as harassment or some shit like that.
Isnt it actually same thing, when you haven't even heard the girl talk? :buddy:
Yeah, you just leave the first part out so you do not sound weird.
Well okay, thought it would be weird. I mean, if a stranger just comes and says "wanna get some lunch tomorrow?" I would be confused. What if the "victim" says "do i know you?" :v: [editline]18th March 2011[/editline] Should you just be like, "no you dont. so how about that lunch?"
Of course you don't do it like that. God dammit, use your brain. Walk up, introduce yourself, then ask them out. Jesus fuck.
thought so. Well i dont have the bowls to just walk up to someone and introduce myself right there and ask her out. Would the cafeteria be a nice place for that? you know, just go and sit in the same table and there introduce myself. And then just try to start some kind of conversation. I think that would be a much less awkward.
Would the cafeteria be a nice place for that?
no definitely not
This.
yeah just say this and you're all set
no definitely not
The cafeteria is a terrible place to do the asking out, but it works for getting to know her. Though I don't see how going and sitting by her at the table takes any less balls than just going up to her wherever.

And sitting down at her table is a little presumptuous seeming to me... I feel like asking her while she's doing something that she can leave is nicer. That way she doesn't feel trapped if she doesn't like you. Like, while she's eating, getting up and leaving is a little less smooth than if you were doing something else.
Well getting to know someone is more natural when actually doing something for me. Cafeteria may not be a good place to ask her out but, why not join her and talk about something? [editline]18th March 2011[/editline]
yeah just say this and you're all set
Okay now that would be creepy. But walking up and talking for example on a bus stop is so damn hard for me. Then i just get too uncomfortable and nervous that i will just sound like that soundcloud up there.

So is it even necessary for her to know you on the subject of asking her out? (As in never talked or introduced)
No.
Even if you're both waiting for the bus? You would just stand there silently?
well yeah, i couldnt introduce myself in that kind of situation. Hands would be shaking and eyes shedding tears. [editline]19th March 2011[/editline] dont have the number of a girl i might ask out, dont know where she lives. only got her facebook, she is not in the same school. What could i do in such situation?
Talk to her over facebook, get her number, ask her out. Are you going to need us to hold your hand through the entire god damn process.
It's funny that there's more people viewing this thread than the entire cooking subforum, good job Garry!
Talk to her over facebook, get her number, ask her out. Are you going to need us to hold your hand through the entire god damn process.
Yes.
Yes.
Just grow a pair man. This is sounding much like my friend who cried his ass off for a week before I just flat out asked a girl to go out for him. Luckily on his end, I was nice and she found it kinda cute that he was too shy.
Is pelvic thrusting at the entire girl's soccer team the way to go? Because I did that today.
