Who gives a shit what those people say? You need to stop caring about what other people think. You won't get far in life as long as you give a shit what idiots think and say.
I prefer to keep relationships secretive, mostly because of the assholes at my school always asking questions like "IS SHE HOT, HAVE YOU HAD SEX YET, WHAT IS HER BRA SIZE".
Do you live in a John Hughes movie or something
This is good advice. Thanks!
How do you make a girl think she likes you?
Mind games. You spend time with them as you would any normal friend, but you plant the idea that she wants to date you, but it really isn't her idea, it's yours. And in time she will probably ask you out or become easy enough to ask out yourself. You basically prepare their mind with the concept of having a relationship with you and then having them accept it.
inception!
Go deeper in her heart.
RIP LA I'd have to say that MaverickIB's advice is some of the most sound advice around. He's true. Just ask the girl out with that very simple form quote in the OP. You'll be surprised how well it works. (Oh, and MaverickIB, you look freakishly like Male_09 from Half-Life 2.)
I'll miss the "Things it's safe to put on your dick- The complete Guide"
I'll miss the "Things it's safe to put on your dick- The complete Guide"
Chains'll be back, and with more things on his dick.

FCUK DAH POHLICE POUH SOME FOR THE LOVE ADVICE HOMMIEZ
So a couple months or so ago I finally manned up and asked out this girl, she said yes but kind of left me hanging with no further contact for a while until she had one of my friends give me a letter from her explaining how she sees me as a friend she can't go out with me etc. In this letter she did say that she wanted to remain friends, however the few times we see each other now she either attempts to hide/pretend not to notice me or get really huffy and pissed and pretty much run away. I do really want to still be friends with her and I'm pretty much over my crush, but I don't know If she does in fact still want to be friends, nor what would be the best way to confront her about why she is getting so mad.
lol this isn't facebook you don't have to lie to us [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] inception!
Uh what, what does facebook have to do with anything.

Obviously she doesn't want to be friends with you, despite what the letter said.
Maverick i have a love problem half my posts were in love advice and now they are gone. But seriously, how do I get past a stepdad I absolutely dislike. is there a policy for dealing with stepdads?
I live in a shithole of a town, there is literally nothing to do. No restaurants, no bowling alleys, no public places to hang out, basically. How do I ask a girl out here? Maverick, your basic line for asking a girl out ("Wanna go out to see a movie?" or some variant) won't work due to my location basically. What am I supposed to do?
I highly doubt there is absolutely nothing to do. 10 bucks says you're just too lazy to look for something. Weren't you the negative nancy that would always come in to LA and then never take our advice? Not going to waste my time if you're going to do the same thing here. Shit, you could just go for a walk or something. Be creative.

I started working out, lost weight, got stronger, more confident. My basic attitude is now "Fuck yeah!" I'll be creative. Thanks for the advice. Aaaand no one believes me. Oh well.
omg halp! ther is a gurl i leik and what do i- Oh wait, you answered my question (which is the same as, so far, everyone else's) in the OP! Thank you, Maverick! This post was to convince you that reading the original post is a good idea. Especially since the whole topic is based around that, i'n't the whole point to be aware of what y' talk about (i.e. what is in the original post)?
Love is a burning thing and it makes a firery ring bound by wild desire I fell in to a ring of fire... I fell in to a burning ring of fire I went down, down, down and the flames went higher. And it burns, burns, burns the ring of fire the ring of fire.
The breakup actually left me with feelings of being a badass. One day I just woke up and realized I didn't love her anymore. We were long-time friends since we were 9 (she was also my crush back then), with communication cut up when we were 13-15 because of moving to different schools. We met up one day and started talking again and a week later we were in a relationship, that lasted 7 whole months. All this time I was telling myself I'd never break up with her, and the only way we would break up would be if she did it. So that day I just woke up and told myself "fuck, I must end this". And so I did, and I've never been a happier man. My friends even applauded me when I got back from breaking up with her. She was convinced that I broke up with her because my friends told me so. Boy was she wrong. Most of my friends told me the same thing: "If you're 100% sure, go for it. If not, don't come back to me crying"! And so I did it. So here's a piece of wisdom for the wanderers of this thread. It was pretty tough. She had figured something was wrong because I asked her to go out earlier than the usual time I do. I hadn't seen her in 2 weeks either. So we meet up, spend 1.5 hours talking about boring bullshit (2 times she tried to rest on my shoulder, something she's almost never done before by herself), when I decided to say "I want to break up". She thought I was joking at first. I'm like srs face and tell her the reasons why and she looks at me and says "WAIT YOU'RE NOT JOKING?", which kinda caught me off guard. None the less, she decided to cut off all contact by herself! So did all of her friends, who I couldn't care less about. I've hidden her from my news feed but not deleted her on Facebook. And life's good. Yesterday I was talking to this chick and she asked me to go play Nazi Zombies together. Cool shit.
And life's good. Yesterday I was talking to this chick and she asked me to go play Nazi Zombies together. Cool shit.
Whatever happened to ice skating
Whatever happened to ice skating
i'm awful at ice skating
i'm awful at ice skating
Me too oh my god. I fall like every 5 seconds. God DAMN.
i'm awful at ice skating
So am I but its better than playing nazi zombies and whatever I do with my girlfriend she has to be good at because I tried taking her bowling and she sucks at bowling and she got really shitty when I beat her
Thank you maverick. :buddy:
I don't think Maverick will ever get married. He will be a bachelor until the day he dies. He will have all the grandmas in the nursing home.
the fuck is this
does it mean anything when a girl makes a point to tell you she's not dating someone when you're hanging out with her? I'm horrible at this sort of thing.
does it mean anything when a girl makes a point to tell you she's not dating someone when you're hanging out with her? I'm horrible at this sort of thing.
If she says it more than once I'm pretty sure it means something
If she says it more than once I'm pretty sure it means something
I'll keep my ears open then. I'm hanging out with her again tomorrow, we'll see how that goes. She's pretty cool. Listens to pretty much all the same music I do, and she's apprenticing under her brother to become a tattoo artist. She's also extraordinarily nice, has a great sense of humor, and she's lovely.
