friend zone is a funny thing
it's the lowest treatment a male can get, when a woman puts you in the friend zone it means she's classified you as a low-rank male that should be fed on, lead on, and never given any in return. She's not interested sexually in a low-rank male because it doesn't appear as promising genetic material to her. "Friends" should be manipulated and used as a source of free gifts and as an emotional dump. This is really an instinctive principle that's supposed to work in a tribal society where there's a free sexual market and the alpha male is dominating it, up until the 20th century, friend zone wasn't really that much of a problem. Now when women are free though and there's nothing to shut up the tribal instincts which we still have because the society and civilization developed too fast for us to evolve along, some western civilizations are pretty much fucked.
Should I elaborate on this point of view?
No.

pretty much what I said?

Friend zone = end of humanity as we know it.
not because of friend zone, it's just a side effect. I might make a thread later, for now it's better to forget I posted that
the main point though is that if a society becomes matriarchal, it isn't likely to survive for long.
Well LA, as most of you that frequent this thread would know, I've had literally countless ups and downs with this one girl over the last year or so, and it's finally coming to an end, really, and I couldn't be more relieved.
Contrary to what was advised by most people here, I did choose to give her one last chance and chose not to excommunicate with her. At the time, I confess, I knew I wasn't making the right decision, and that I was merely acting on my feelings and desires to stay close to her. But looking back, I'm so glad I chose to stay friendly with her, because where I am now is perfect.
For reasons beyond my control, I've gradually noticed myself just moving away from it all. I'm finally just 'getting over' her, completely naturally. The difference here is that I know I'm not just talking shit like I've always done in the hope that I'll believe it myself, I can tell that this time it's actually different.
I don't expect many of you to believe me immediately, but the thing is, for the first time I believe myself. This is pretty cheesy but it's the best way I can phrase it, but it's like feelings have finally caught up with logic. Prior to this, whenever I'd decide that it had to end and that I had to move on, it was only me being logical, and just trying to drag my emotions in with it. This time though, there's been no major turning point or event or anything, nothing that has made me logically decide that it had to be over, it's just happened.
Fuck I feel so relieved, and like I said I'm glad I didn't cut it off with her again. We're friends now, and I like that. Yes, she still sees me as the most important and valuable person in her life, and her best friend, and I can't do anything to change that, nor do I really want to. I could just stop talking to her and forget about her, but I now don't have any reason to. She's still a bit of a mess inside, and miles from being 'independent' despite turning 18 in September, but she's improving and she is still receptive to my advice and concern here and there. Turning her away again will just destroy her, and I don't have any reason to hurt her like that again, which would distress me as well anyway.
Recently we've had a weird relationship in which we're friends but continued a physical and sometimes romantic relationship and were somewhat exclusive to each other, but knew it was temporary and that we both just wanted to be single but not alone. Of course now I think it'll be better to just cease all the touchy feely shit and actually treat her as a friend. Obviously, we'll always be special to each other, we were each others' firsts, but I just want to move on now. I'm still undecided as to how much of this I should share with her. She hates not being told shit like this, and has said that nothing hurts her more than when I keep my thoughts/feelings from her, but personally I just do it to avoid drama. I might just let her know tomorrow what the deal is, just to avoid the awkwardness of when she goes to kiss me or tries to hold my hand or something.
This will most definitely be the final update I'll give in regards to my ex. Thanks to everyone that has followed all of this, especially those that gave advice (which, although taking into account, I admittedly never really followed). I'm finally glad that it's really over, and I'm so happy that we can finally just be friends without any nonsense. Lesson(s) definitely learnt.
I feel great.
PS: "and if I see any touchy feely shit I promise I will kick you in the nuts this time" - a supportive friend.
Writing novels about people definitely helps get over them.
Not sure if I'm detecting sarcasm/spite or not, but either way, it definitely does.

Definitely no sarcasm here. None at all.

That's completely moronic. You're just making excuses for yourself.

The whole she's just not that into you was in massive sarcasm quotes.
Akward. A girl wants a relationship with me, but I'm taken. I had a crush on her a few years ago, so I'm like shitting all over myself a few years ago. Weeeirdd.
I ride this bus with this girl that I've known for a year or so.She's a butterface but god damn she is the most chill person I've ever met. Basically, as of recently she has been getting really touchy and flirtatious with me, she'll lean her head on my arm and ask me if I've been working out, shit like that. I'm not super duper anxious for a relationship with her, but I can't say it wouldn't be nice.
Hey this is bone thugz here posting from my phone
I'm probably gonna break up with her. She never cracks a smile anymore and she's lost all of her soul. All she does is do homework and watch the food channel.

I've had better conversations with her mom this weekend

not fucking worth it, when it comes to a butter face, jack off then ask your self if you would like to date her.
then if you do, go for it I guess, but 99% of the time you'll be grossed out as FUCK and realize it's a bad idea.

Same here, and I've been dating her for over a year now, haha.
I don't think girls have to play by the same rules. I mean, I like it when a girl is brave, but I'm not going to think "Oh, this girl is a pussy, I'm gonna say no."

"Grow some balls, woman...
Actually please don't."
I had a dream I asked a girl out and she accepted. I woke up really excited and then got depressed because I realized it was a dream.
I will now work harder than ever to get a girlfriend because that dream made me realize I'm pathetic enough to get excited that a girl said yes to me IN A DREAM.

Now that I think about it, I prob. wouldn't call her a butterface. She's just got bad acne and a slightly large nose. I don't understand what you mean, though. I really don't find her gross before or after jacking off, really.
I'd rather get some advice on if she's all up on me in a friendly way or in a "take me to the movies" kind of way.
Acne is a no-no for me.

Same here. Acne is gross.
i've always been interested (not looking for personal advice here) how do people go from being friends to fuck buddies? seems to me it'd destroy the friendship in any way i can think of
