Well I've got my hair cut now anyway but in a less douchey way than the pictures.
i made my decision last night that i'm gonna chuck my girlfriend tomorrow. i realised i don't actually love her, after a year of dating and seeing her all the time. she still seems to be obsessed with me, but that's her problem. quite tempted to be a dick and post
I read the OP and the breakup encyclopedia, and it makes me feel more confident that I do want to break up with my girlfriend. There's just nothing in the relationship anymore, including sex, but the only reason I'm thinking this is because we rarely communicate anymore and the times we do communicate, we just get pissed off at each other. I think the communication side of things is bad is because she's grounded (called her mum an alcoholic), and I don't have any way of contacting her or anything except for the occasional phone call. We both accepted that we're rarely going to see each other any more. (If she rebelled against her parents, they will probably beat the shit out of her (they are dicks))
She dumps all the arguments she has with her family and friends on me and expects me to comfort every time someone looks at her funny. I mean I don't mind being a bitch to an extent, cos I'm an easy going person, but it's getting too much to handle now.
(all of the above is a bit of background and various points why I want to break up)
Now, because she's grounded and considering moving to her real father's house (1.5 hour drive) she's under a LOT of stress. I was just wondering if this would be awful timing for her, cos as far as I'm aware she's still obsessed with me. Alternatively, is there such thing as bad timing?

Well ouch. While that guy may be doing one of the first two, it doesn't apply to all heterosexual guys... I have a friend that's a girl that I hang out with pretty often one on one and we don't fuck every chance we get. Er, or at all.
Yeah i hate the guy with girl = guy in girl stereotypes. Though sometimes i wish they were true :smug:
Clint Eastwood is my hero.

went better than expected, didn't really know what to say to though other than "i don't feel the same way any more" and that sort of thing
Nice work, but don't get too comfortable just yet. It really starts to suck in the following days, but just hang in there and remember how you feel right now and you'll be sweet.
Damn, I keep trying to catch Maverick and he's never here.
Eww why would you want to catch maverick, he smells

:colbert: you better not be trying to start something on my watch

It's nice to know that you hunt for opportunities to say stupid things. What was that about being mature for your age again?
These are forums, you're supposed to post something here so that later when the other person goes on they can read it and respond.
That way you don't have to both be online at once.
Or if it's personal you can use PMs.
That is how forums work.

So, turns out I'm getting asked to prom this year (as a sophomore). A junior girl came up to me today and asked if I was going to prom, to which I replied no. So she smiled and said that was all she needed to know. I just don't know if she's asking for a friend, or for herself. Although I'm leaning towards the latter, because if it was her, she could've just asked me right then.

Cue fat girl asking you with her friends around so you say yes out of guilt and then sex her after prom out of drunken guilt and then feel the eternal pain that is the trauma from fucking a fat girl.
You act like I'm not a big enough asshole to reject a girl in a group of her friends. :v: I mean. I'm not going to go to prom (much less junior prom), just for the sake of going. I'll only go if the girl happens to be hot.
It was a pretty exciting exchange, since I was absolutely doughed when it happened.
Good. Prom is a waste of time and money.
Be smart. Only go to the before/afterparties.
If I get to wear a bowtie, it's worth it.

That's actually an alright idea.
Except my best friend and his band are playing at our prom and I kinda want to see them.

I had an "I'll go if you go" pact with my friends. No one went. Mutually Assured Virginity.
I wish I didn't go at all.
Fucking hated everyone at my school.
My school is ugly. So I'm really finding it unlikely I'll be going.

Yes I agree the decor in my school is not up to par with my standards, which is the sole reason why I am not interested in attending the yearly social gathering.
[editline]21st April 2011[/editline]
Jesus christ you guys remind my of that old Macolm in the Middle episode where they throw that "anti-prom" party for all the kids who were "too cool" for regular prom even though they were just butthurt.

Hurr. I'm sorry for not being willing to go to a dance with someone ugly? It has nothing to do with the fact that I'm "too cool" for prom. It's just that I have high standards, and the likelihood of my prospective date being attractive is pretty low.

Wait... what?
If she was asking for herself, she could've just asked you right then?
Did you mean "former" and not "latter?"
Whoops. Yeah, I meant former.
