Lol I can't believe you actually heard about that one. Well it depends, some are really bad, like the one i'm in.. well not bad, it's just a basic dorm, small room with just a little bit of walking space etc.. some places like the commodore used to be a hotel that was bought by the school then converted into a dorm, so basically a hotel with keycards n stuff for each of the rooms, tv's, mini fridges etc.. And then there's the Bluxome lofts, oh god that place is sex. Huge 2 or 3 roomed apts, for the price of dorms, nice view etc.. All dorms are the same prices, the only problem is it's first come first serve, like me, i missed to good ones so i got shipped here to a Lombard motel converted to be the dorms. :<
I saw some of the dorms and they were really nice with lounge areas etc.
I saw some of the dorms and they were really nice with lounge areas etc.
yeah all of them have amazing lounge areas, except for mine. our lounge area is the motels parking lot :v:
My job is to design and create cd covers for music producers... does that count?
I'm doing a degree in 3D Animation now, then doing a masters after. Pixar is pretty much the ultimate job for animators, but I want to work at Weta Digital someday. Shame they need a PhD and 5 years of experience in the industry.

I know someone online who I think can be considered a professional. He really is an amazing artist with high artistic qualifications. He also does 3D modelling. He's known by the name of Voltemand or Neolight. Here is his Deviantart page: http://neolight.deviantart.com/ Links to some of his drawn works: http://neolight.deviantart.com/art/Ragnar-Reference-Planes-117954878 http://neolight.deviantart.com/art/Summoning-the-Miracle-116574225 http://neolight.deviantart.com/art/The-Mirth-of-Verismahr-WiP-57080189 http://neolight.deviantart.com/art/Patachu-Strikes-Back-110051470 http://neolight.deviantart.com/art/Superman-Krypton-123249838 And a link leading to a thread showcasing some of his 3D modelling work: http://www.gameartisans.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8658 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxQtw9GMOEY&fmt=22 I could mention this thread to him when he gets back on Skype for me. Or feel free to send him a message to him yourself instead if you are interested.

The answer too question 17 is too have the patience too finish something you started. And fucking UV mapping.
Who does he work for?
Currently I think he is self employed.
Currently I think he is self employed.
He's 19 and doesn't work for anyone. I don't think that qualifies as a professional, especially if you look at the questions in the OP.
