nevermind it's the donkey kong country credits music
I swear, I will buy an SNES someday. It's a console that I've always wanted to own, so many great games.
Unfortunately the only one I've seen in person was on sale in a nearby game store, was selling the damn thing for like £200, that place charges crazy amounts for old systems and games.
Oh, also, I just want to say that the US SNES really looks like shit, especially compared to the Japanese and European one.

I have one! The video is dying and it's literally piss yellow.
At least I have MarioPaint.
tiny James is hilarious
Anyone know the name of that fighting game that was shown on the Genesis that was "beaten" by Killer Instinct? I had it as a kid and I can't remember the name of it.

Nevermind I got it, Eternal Champions. Great fighting game.
He should of declared tie on the sound department
wow it seems only in an instant facepunch came to only consist of 13 and 14 year olds
I had both systems, but when i think back to it, i feel like i played the genesis more. However, that might have been because my local video store had a larger collection of sega games then they did for snes.
Also, while i think i played Genesis more, that was probably just me. My brother and sister loved and always will love RPG games and the snes REALLY catered to them, but the one thing that i absolutely adore snes for: Earthbound.
I also though i was so cool when my mother bought (via mail order catalogue) the super gameboy cartridge. Holy shit did i think i was hot shit bragging to my friends how i could play pokemon on my tv. Then there was mario paint, the plugin for that, and the mother fucking super scope.
Wow to this day i really do seem torn, this was serious shit back in the day.

I had this one:

I played on the original one for a few years at my neighbor's house before my parents bought us this for christmas '97
James is a lot funnier when he's not acting as the AVGN. It used to be funny but I guess I grew out of thinking that his cussing and toilet humour was hilarious.
He should of declared tie on the sound department
If he factored in the soundtracks from Streets of rage 2 and Revenge of shinobi that would have easily made it a tie. Yuzo Koshiro did some godly work back in the day.
shame he didn't bring out the japanese/european snes design, so much better than the NA one.
I don't like how he just dismissed the sports games like that. NHL 93 is one of the most addicting games I have ever played.
no he didn't dismiss them at all, he said if you liked them you should get a sega since it's the better choice for them
Just seeing the title made my anus loosen up a little bit in excitement.
He did seem to have a bit of a Nintendo bias. I will say that in the technical specs, the SNES wins, but for the rest of it, it seems to be a bit subjective. Technically the SNES is better, but it really comes down to what games you're playing and what your opinion of them is.
Wow res-soul-u-ation

SNES had this awesome music. I still have it on my MP3 player. A great game, I used to play it on the Gameboy Color.
Owned a Mega Drive (Genesis) and loved it, but also played SNES around that time because my cousin owned one and loved it equally as much.
I don't personally think one is better than the other because they were both amazing parts of my childhood.
snes has some awesome music:

My favourite from DKC2:

The whole DKC series had an amazing soundtrack.
I'm surprised he didn't put any Streets of Rage music in the sound part.

Some awesome shit right there.

he said that this was his opinion and to make it real factual he would have to work on it for several weeks
The fact that he mentioned the SuperFX but not the Virtua Processor which was miles ahead makes me sad, I mean look at this:

On the sound, the SNES did have a more advanced chip in tecnical term, but look at this, I mean look at this!

I was born in 94 so I never experienced that era, hell I hardly remember n64 and ps1. But I say SNES wins just because of Mario World, Super Castlevania, and Super Metroid.

Ladies, contain your orgasms.
I owned a sega mega drive (genesis) when I was little, but I've always missed out on the SNES, gamecube and N64 so I'm considering buying a Wii so I can catch up on all this stuff I missed out on
Here's another comparison of the same song for Genesis/SNES. Meiko Ishikawa/Yuzo Koshiro's music too (Yuzo is the Streets of Rage/Shinobi composer)

Genesis can sound good but, like James, I prefer SNES because of the variation of sounds it can have.
SNEGA wins.
Good. I was waiting for the second part
SNES4lyfe
He didnt mention Earthbound :(
