Sweet, sweet satisfaction
oh he is good. He probably caught on with the new meme going on now, if you even want to call it that.
It's a really old meme, actually.
And god damn, Rick Harris is a badass. "I'll give you 15 bucks for it and I'll take a picture with you, and you can post it on 4chan.org." Hilarious.
I wonder if he actually would have taken a picture with him.
That was amazing.

the battle toads one is almost as old as longcat is long.
In case you are unfamiliar with pawn stars, Like I was, I just randomly found an episode on youtube.
I think it basically fits all the things said about them.

Flask bow: Worth $60-$100, they bought it from the guy for $40.
Old coin: Worth $4,000-$5,000, they bought it from the guy for $2,500
both times they had to call in an expert.
That kid just got "powned".

It's called lowballing, I'd say if the flax bow man pushed hard enough he could of got at least $20 more off it.
They pay low so they can make a profit, it's called fucking economics. The guys at Pawn Stars are actually incredibly smart, besides Chum Lee. They call in experts so that they don't get fucked over.
Pawn Stars kicks ass. Even more so now.

its an act for the cameras.
But yeah i hate how people thinking "OMG CHEEPSKATEZ" when they buy an item for 40% of its market value. Just because it's worth 8,000 dollars doesn't mean you're going to get 8,000$
Kid got Pawned.

How did they know the coke thing was fake
How did they know the coke thing was fake
It looks too new.
If you want a better deal, you can wait and set up an auction. But most people that go to the pawn shop need money fast, they don't have the time or patience to set up a big auction deal, so they settle for less fast.
Awesome, go Pawn Stars.
wheres that zing rating
I will now watch this show every day for my entire life :v:

My favorite is the "Well, you heard the man, he said $2,000 so I want $2,000" kind of people.
:v:
The people who sell their stuff here don't have to go through them. If they were really determined, they could find someone who would actually buy it at full price. A pawn shop is just an easy way of doing it. Especially when you find out you're getting 10 times more than you expected.
That was absolutely fantastic. Like wow.

doubt it. Even if you go to auction. Most auctions take a large fee out, usually about 30% of what you won. Plus entrance fees and if the item doesn't sell well, you're fucked.
Oh god Rick is hella funny. Plus I cant stop laughing when I hear his laugh.
Holy shit, my GRANDPARENTS do the whole "let me get an expert/ its worth 75? I'll give you 20" deal. They are the ones who got me watching pawn stars.
JFK's House Slippers? I don't know, there is a lot of replicas. Let me call in an expert.
Too bad that was apparently fake, because copies like that were included in their records.
